It is a cold, rainy winter. Perhaps not cold enough, the barely frozen tears of the sky splattering onto the concrete floor in a formless snow tainting the few colors still around.
The mood is muddy, the state of the world reflecting the ice melting on the pavement, forming a brown putrid sludge near the park. The sun is distant, abandoning the landscape. It is a rough day.
Yet, despite the cold, there is a warmth in your heart, for whatever the struggles you have to face, you don’t have to do it alone.
All's Fair in Love and Blitz

Guidelines
In this writing blitz, you have until February 28th (included) to write an article containing romance, collabing with another writer of your choice. It is encouraged for the romance aspect to involve a character you made and a character your teammate created, although this isn't necessary. Be sure to be original! Love can take many shapes and form, so don't be afraid to get creative.
- This event is NOT a contest. It's just a thing for fun, to encourage people to write something fast they wouldn't usually do
Your entry must respect the following points:
- Be co-authored by you and your teammate (don't forget the co-authored tag!)
- Qualify for the romance tag (also don't forget this one)
- Be posted before March (as long as it is February somewhere in the world, you are allowed to post without a clear/greenlight using the event tag valentine2026
Rules
- You may submit only one article for this event.
- Your entry has to be co-authored by a maximum of two people (you and your teammate). A co-authored article will count as each author's one allowed submission.
- You may coldpost your article. While you can technically post it as soon as you see this page, it is still heavily recommended you get critique.
- You may participate with an article that began development prior to the official announcement of the event.
- Editing your article after it is posted is allowed, if needed.
- You may use the code "valentineblitz2026" to post entries for the duration of the event. Use of this code for other coldposts will be met with disciplinary action.
- Please tag your entries with valentine2026, but also romance and co-authored since these are mandatory requirements for the blitz. All articles tagged as such will automatically show up on this page.
Posting Period
As said earlier, you have until the end of the month to write and post your co-authored page. After that, if you want to post your page, you'll have to go through the regular posting process.
- This date is based on "Anywhere on Earth".
- Pages posted through this event still are subject to the Deletions Policy.
- Please set the parent page of your article to this page for the duration of the event by going to + Options > Parent on your page. Staff will remove the parent after the event has ended.
One Final Word of Advice
Remember that this event is just for fun. It's not a competition and is meant to be an interesting exercise for you to try, if you're up for the challenge!
