Two-Faced Forest - Pebble
On August 16, 2017, wanderer Adam M. tripped over a pebble while traveling on Level PL-53, causing him to flip forward. However, instead of landing on hard ground, he landed on thick grass. When he looked around, he realized that he was not in a dead forest but in a tropical rainforest. Confused, he decided to explore the nearby area. After walking a few hundred meters, he came across people speaking a different language, and they themselves seemed to be of Asian origin. The confused wanderer fled in the opposite direction from them. After several minutes of pondering how to get out of this level, he decided to do a forward flip again. While mid-air, he noticed that when his head was upside down, he went up a bit instead of down and was transported back to Level PL-53. After this incident, he met with the Hussar a short time later. The explorer told him the whole story, and the entity stated that he knew about the possibility of going to this level; only he could not do it himself. The man helped the explorer get out of Level PL-53, and after just leaving, the wanderer started looking for the nearest friendly group to whom he could tell about the event.
Two-Faced Forest - Meaning
On August 23, 2017, the Polish Committee of Explorers launched a case for the “Dead Forest”. It has been noted that it is possible to enter Level 35-ID when the body is fully upside down. This position also works the other way to get from Level 35-ID to Level PL-53. With the help of English, more was learned about the level, as well as the fact that the Infinite Tree on Level PL-53 is also located on the Indonesian side of the level in the same place. Additionally, there were discussions with Hussar on the subject. He told PCE members that if he meets people who do not speak Polish, he draws a stickman standing on its hands on the ground with his saber. If the person still does not understand, they are led to the bunker just like anyone else1. The entity itself thought that everyone knew about the possibility of transferring to another level using this method, so it did not tell anyone about it.
With easy passage to both levels, there are plans to build outposts on both levels in the future, near the Infinite Tree, and to cooperate with Indonesian groups. On August 25, 2017, the name of Level PL-53 was changed from "Dead Forest" to "Two-Faced Forest".
