DESCRIPTION
Phenomenon 25 refers to the probabilistic anomaly surrounding the inevitable and catastrophic internal and external alteration of Maurice B., a low-grade Eyes of Argos agent, into a domestic pig1, which occurs each year on the first day of March. During these events, Maurice will inescapably enter the pursuit of an unidentified teenage individual throughout the corridors of Level 4. At exactly 2:56PM, Maurice and the unidentified individual invariably enter Base Omega, during which the teenager will yell the following sentence:

You're a pig, Maurice, and you'll always be one!2

At the same exact time, Maurice will consistently stumble unto Tyron M., an M.E.G. civil worker of the Supplying and Communications Agency3. At this point, Maurice will fall to the ground and will rapidly transform into a pig, causing surprised reactions, panic, unrest, and faintings among the base, while the Argos agent will yell pained screams, which progressively shift into the higher notes of pig squeals while his bones audibly bend and crack, conforming to the shape of an adult swine's skeleton. The teenager will flee the scene without fail, not before emitting a satisfied burst of laughter. Maurice will remain in his altered form until midnight strikes, at which point he slowly transforms back into a human over the course of four days. During his stay, Maurice may be administered painkillers, on the condition that the base's stockpile is sufficient enough.

The local section of the M.E.G., in collaboration with assets of the Eyes of Argos and of the Ariane Circle4, have made attempts to impede the events of the phenomenon. However, the results have been inconclusive so far. During P25 events, Maurice B. is to be given temporary asylum until he fully recovers.

M.E.G. PERSON OF INTEREST REPORT

Name: Maurice B.5

Age: Mid 40s to early 50s.

Physical Appearance: 181cm tall. Shaved hair. Walrus mustache. Brown eyes. Always seen wearing a police vest with the inscription "POLICE MUNICIPALE" written on the back of it, a navy blue pair of pants, and a golden necklace on which hangs a locket. When opened, a picture of a younger-looking Maurice, sitting along with an unidentified blonde-haired woman can be seen. They are holding each other's hands and are smiling widely.

Note: His mother language is French. His English proficiency is somewhat limited, being able to hold a basic conversation, although with difficulties. Easily irritated; please remain cautious during interviews. Appears to be at the center of the Phenomenon. Smoker.

Section I: Initial Occurrence of P25 and Description of the Parties

The first report of a P25 event can be traced back to 01/03/2018. Maurice was first thought to be unaffiliated with any organization, but his status as an EoA operative was quickly discovered due to his shoulder patch depicting the organization's logo. As his entry into the base was technically an illegal intrusion, he was rapidly detained. Multiple attempts at conducting an interview were made. The first one, which happened two days after the incident, was unsuccessful due to Maurice's vocal cords not being functional. The next day, further attempts were refused by Maurice until he finally conceded after Jean Meier, a Lead Archivist at the Ariane Circle, volunteered as an interviewer. It quickly appeared that the events of P25 were not the first interaction the former police officer reported to have had with the pursuee; they repeatedly taunted Maurice through various malicious acts, such as throwing small rocks at Maurice's head, no-clipping his leg to trip him up, and going as far as sending a severed pig head to his barracks, despite access to the location being heavily restricted and guarded.

The EoA agent was reported to not be aware of any motives that might explain the repeated acts of the unknown individual. There are no clear relations between the two parties, although Maurice reports a "vague familiarity". There are no known means to contact the "P25 John Doe", which significantly hinders the efforts of the investigators. It is assumed that they are capable of abnormal capabilities and as such should be approached with caution if seen.

M.E.G. PERSON OF INTEREST REPORT

Name: Unknown. Nicknamed the "P25 John Doe" by the M.E.G., or "Little Shit" by Maurice.

Age: Unknown. Estimated to be between 14 and 17 years old. Does not visibly age.

Physical Appearance: Around 165cm-170cm tall. Medium-long, wavy, blonde hair. Possibly green or hazelnut eyes. Wears an oversized leather jacket, baggy pants, and boots. At least one chipped tooth.

Note: Possibly has a French accent? Appears to hold a grudge towards Maurice for unclear reasons. They are extremely agile and could be capable of no-clipping at will (if the testimonies are to be trusted). Do not recklessly approach them, as they will inevitably escape the premises.

As the events technically constituted an incident between the M.E.G. and the Eyes of Argos, formal contacts had to be made to defuse tensions and reassure the organization as to their agent's status. However, the EoA were initially reluctant in divulging the status of their agent. Later on, during further discussions with an Argos liaison officer, he claimed that none of the supposed colleagues of Maurice recalls having worked with him. Said colleagues have privately confirmed not knowing Maurice. When pressed with knowledge of those discrepancies, the EoA finally admitted that although Maurice had been confirmed through records to have contributed to the arrest of numerous "sinful" individuals and beings, they had no previous knowledge that Maurice was part of the organization. Furthermore, the EoA disclosed being unable to fully expunge the agent from their database, as he would simply reappear each time the database was updated. When confronted with this fact, Maurice failed to produce a convincing explanation, stuttering often and repeating cognitive interjections that indicated confusion and fear, before attributing the situation to a lack of recognition of his work among the organization.

Maurice was allowed to leave the premises of Base Omega once he made a full recovery. At the time, the event was deemed exceptional, as none had expected any sort of recurrence. As such, no further contacts were made with the Eyes, and a protocol in case of another accidental intrusion by an Argos agent was deemed as unnecessary.

Section II: Further Incidents

Contrary to belief, P25 repeated itself in the following years. Tensions mounted between the M.E.G. and the Eyes of Argos, who accused the former of lying in a coverup operation to justify the abuse of one of their assets, despite their self-admittance of the database anomaly. The situation contributed to a temporary deterioration of the already tenuous relations between the two groups, resulting in an increase in what the M.E.G. deemed as "arbitrary arrests" and in the necessity to find a mediating participant. Jean Meier, the head of the Ariane Circle "Information Collection Section", was present at Base Omega as part of an extensive research partnership with the M.E.G. and was thus a key witness of the events of P25. Meier accepted that the initially confidential report of the AC be made publicly accessible on the General Public Database.

ARIANE CIRCLE - INCIDENTS REPORTS - PYTHEAS GROUP
BY JEAN MEIER

So, the M.E.G. was wrong. So was I, honestly. We expected this to be nothing more than a small, strange blip on the radar of an otherwise uneventful place. However, Level 4 held a surprise for me and the meggies.

First day of March of the year 2019, some time in the afternoon. Tyron leaves his office desk for a cup of almond-flavored coffee. As he returns to work, a teenager followed by a familiar face wearing an Argos patch on his shoulder bursts into the base. The kid yells "You're a pig, Maurice, and you'll always be one!" and the rest is history; a perfect repetition, down to the time. The cop seemed to not particularly remember our previous interactions, while Argos reaffirmed that they had not heard of him since last year, despite their database telling them that he was very much active. We were puzzled, but perhaps this was just a coincidence, right?

2020 came, and it happened again, with a small variation: the teenager wore a matador outfit and spoke in Spanish. Something was obviously up. This did prove that P25 could be subject to minor variations on its own, but what if we induced that change? We built an entire protocol on how to react to the events: who was to be present on that day, how to best handle the healing process of Maurice and what to communicate to the Eyes, who are growing weary of our annual meetings concerning their "Schrödinger's Cop". With that protocol in mind, we could induce changes and see how that might impact the events. Perhaps, after all, we could stop the phenomenon from happening, right?

2021. I suggest to the M.E.G. that Tyron should be evacuated to another place, perhaps another level, even. We debate, as sending that poor guy to another level is risky, and settle on an enclosed room guarded by an agent. 2:56PM strikes and Tyron reappears, grabbing his usual lukewarm coffee in an apparent fugue state. He does not recall having done so, as well as not remembering how he fled. The guard, of course, coincidentally lost focus when seeing a friend who had just returned from an exploration and let Tyron slip away.

2022. I finally get the M.E.G. guys to evacuate Tyron to another level. He's got the heebie-jeebies, as he had always managed to remain in the confines of Level 46, but we assure him that he will be safely transported. He is eventually transferred to the M.E.G. outpost in Level 5, months before the annual P25 event. March 1st, 2:55PM strikes, and everything is seemingly fine and calm when a disgusting mass of guts and flesh bearing a face whose traits are superficially similar to that of Tyron no-clips from the ceiling. As it drops to the floor, it screeches, and it attempts to reach a cup of coffee, smearing the entire table on which it stood with a viscous crimson matter. Instead of "grabbing it", it… fuses it to its body. The creature then slides towards Tyron's office when Little Shit and Maurice enter the base and the same thing as usual happens, sort of. I say sort of, because when Maurice tripped onto the mass of meat, it exploded, coating a good portion of the SCA in that very same matter I described. It took WEEKS to clean it off, and I could swear that a lingering smell of rotten flesh has remained close to where the coffee is usually served. To this day, people still give me shit for what happened, and I learned a valuable lesson: you do not mess with fate.

In 2023, one can imagine that none of us dared to impede P25. All happened according to plan, with the slight variation that Maurice was deaf and only spoke in what I can only call "Morse language", as he opened his mouth and emitted Morse code.

I do not have much advice for my colleagues at Base Omega. Leave things be, as destiny has decided that on March 1st at 2:56PM, an ex-cop from France was to be publicly humiliated by a rebellious teenager in front of tens of people.

Section III: Lastest Developments

On October 28th, 2023, a liaison officer from the Eyes of Argos informed Jean Meier of a change in their database, as Maurice was marked as "Killed in Action". This significant development was deemed as a potential catalyst for ceasing the events of P25.

However, on March 1st, 2024, at 2:56PM, the "P25 John Doe" was seen walking into Base Omega, followed by a large-sized pig. The animal then tripped onto Tyron M., before suddenly transforming into Maurice B., who then squealed in a pig-like manner. The unknown teenager declared, upon seeing the transformation:

You were always a pig, Maurice… And you're not as fun as you used to be.

The teenager sighed in an expression of disappointment before fleeing the scene. The animal is currently being taken care of in the medical unit of Base Omega until it has made a full recovery.
