Level ES-8 is a very small, cozy, and largely safe level. It is also very easy to enter and exit.

Description:

Level ES-8 takes the appearance of a modern restaurant locked in unending night. The building is lit by ornate lamps suspended above the tables and regular lights scattered about the ceiling which illuminate the painted concrete walls. Level ES-8 is devoid of entities other than Marcus, a humanoid entity, who appears to be in charge of the place. It is thanks to him that the restaurant well maintained and quiet in the absence of wanderers. The menus are expansive, offering a wide variety of classic restaurant foods. Marcus will come to take your order after 2 minutes in the restaurant, you can order anything from the menu. He will bring it after spending some time in the kitchen.

The Kitchen

The kitchen acts as the heart of the restaurant with Marcus at its helm. Hardworking, he seems unaware of the emptiness of the dining room. The kitchen itself is rather simple compared to the ornate exterior; it is a small and practical hotel cooking area. Lifting the booth seats reveals utensils, food, and even bladed weapons. Classic appliances sit on stainless steel, tables washed by the white of the overhead lights. The illuminates the pale, white walls and yellowish tile floors. And the classic appliances of a hotel kitchen with the machinery cables hanging from the ceiling. It is unknown where the power for the entire level comes from, but it is suspected that the energy comes from a lone power station on the roof that connects to all of the machinery and lights in the level.

There are no known bases, outposts or communities on this level.

Entrances and Exits:

Entrances:

  • This level is accessed through a bright and attractive building on the main streets of Level ES-5, which has a sign that says "restaurant" lit up with neon.

Exits:

  • One can exit by returning to where they entered leading them to Level ES-5.
  • One can simply annoy Marcus; if you do, he will banish the perpetrator through a hidden door, no-clipping the wanderer into Level ES-0.
