September is here, and that means DrAkimoto is here to bring you the summer recap!

Earlier this summer, we wrapped up the The Backrooms Wiki Pride 2025 Showcase, a month-long celebration of LGBTQ+ representation with featured articles, art submissions, and Crit Nights. A huge thank you to everyone who joined in!
DuelCon2025 came to us in the middle of the summer and left as one of the most participated-in contests in site history! This team writing event pitted Hope against Despair in a contest of creativity, subversion, and storytelling. In the end, Hope triumphed over despair, keeping humanity's flame burning for just a bit longer. Thanks to all who battled it out and made the competition truly unforgettable!
Star Critics
Each month the Crit Crew rewards a "Star Critic" that is chosen using a point-based system. These points are given based on the number of crits given and for individual actions that are good examples of what we want to accomplish as a team. At the end of the month, whoever did the best job gets a front-page "Critic Spotlight" featuring an article of their choice and the golden Star Critic role for the following month. These have been our Star Critics (and their features) so far:

- Red-eyes Dragoon has been promoted to Admin and will be heading the Disciplinary Team.
- DrAkimoto has been promoted to Admin and will be heading the GLMP.
- Super-Robot14 rejoined as moderator.
- LiminalDoctor rejoined and was promoted to moderator.
- Ambersight was promoted to moderator.

GLMP Updates
- Sky3 has been made the Trimming Team's captain
- ForestIsWatching is now the Rewrite Team captain.
- InspectingCritters has been promoted to Greenflame Trialee.
If you are interested in joining staff, you are always welcome to apply!
Specifically, we want people who can do the maintenance tasks, run Discord events, and contribute to staff projects.
The GLMP and Critic Crew are looking for new recruits; if you have any interest in giving critique, greenlighting, and/or assisting with the trimming project, you can Apply Here or talk to a greenlighter on Discord.
We also realize we need to communicate with the community better, so these are some topics staff is considering at the moment:
- Gearing up for our October contest!
- Still working on streamlining the critique system.
- Starting projects to make the site fully CC compliant.

I love this series of magazines(or newspaper whatever you say). But after reading, i figured out i already know almost all of it.
So we can do some improvements to magazine? But idk what we can do aswell, maybe adding something more interesting?
But this might change sprit of magazine so maybe just i have to change my mind?
