Lucy Chabar is a 29-year-old2 Caucasian woman measuring 1.79m, with blonde hair of medium length and green eyes. She is also in good shape. When she goes on a mission, she is always dressed in a tactical outfit or a trellis wrapped in a sort of thick brown leather coat, with a bag on the back. The rest of the time, she can be seen dressed in simple t-shirts and pants.
Chabar is the leader of the Troop Dream-Hunter, which itself is the most versatile troop and has the most experienced members of the Nomads. This status makes her wield both great responsibilities and grants her many distinctions, which have made her known throughout the Backrooms. Former private secretary of a business director known to be 'boring and frustrated by his profession', she integrated into the M.E.G.. Then, by climbing the hierarchy thanks to her growing initiative, she ended up founding the Nomads with 8 other members in order to no longer be limited by the regulations and the repetitive missions of the M.E.G. This first group, named Ariane Thread (wich still exists today), aimed to lead large-scale expeditions to explore and map out places far from inhabited levels in order to make them safe as well as to find new passages to other levels. The security of the group was then provided by Toreen Stoël, who was trained in the handling of firearms and taught it to other members, including Chabar.
At the founding of this independent group, the first months of its existence can be summed up as exploring and surviving as much as possible. It then made itself quite noticed, by the M.E.G. on one hand, including the top of the hierarchy, who authorized their independence3, but also of another French-speaking group, which saw in them an opportunity for collaboration, the Ariane Circle. Thanks to the growing will of Lucy Chabar, they gradually transformed their simple mapping mission into a utopian dream of prosperity within the Backrooms. The Nomads then soon took contact with other groups, now in their own name, in order to provide for their needs in exchange for service. It is thanks to these newly formed relationships that the Nomads were able to grow in number and importance, recovering members from the different groups and residents of the Backrooms.
All of this was made possible by the bravery of Chabar, who already had a strong personality in the Frontrooms, making her workplace stick together.4
Despite her leadership personality, she remains smiling and pleasant with the other wanderers, pulling the others forward with her. It was notably this trait that made it possible to consolidate the group so quickly. Her social ease is largely due to her job which was about being around and reaching out to people. It has been about 4 years since she left the M.E.G., and thanks to her efforts combined, with those of other leaders and founding members, the Nomads were set up.
Nevertheless, her lithe silhouette does not hide her natural charisma, bolstered by her stare, which is qualified as piercing and intimidating, as well as her physique, previously maintained by her gym routine in the Frontrooms and then her repeated missions in the Backrooms. In addition, apart from harmless conversations, she can be authoritarian and stubborn, and will not hesitate to stand up to anyone who would not agree with her on important subjects. Being often relevant, this characteristic has also made her reputation and the respect that most people show her. Her personality is also the source of most of her nicknames.
Notable achievements made by Lucy Chabar and/or her troop:
- Has secured Level 11 within a radius of 10 kilometers around Base Beta.
- Has served as a mediator between the M.E.G. and the AC to appease relations, in particular thanks to the establishment of commercial routes for which they themselves ensured deliveries initially.
- Has allowed a community of 60 people to migrate to Level 4 from Level 2. Unfortunately, this operation has cost the lives of 11 members of the Dreams-Hunter.6

- Has fitted out a safe road connecting Levels 4-FR, 14-FR, 1, 4, and 522 to facilitate the exchanges of goods and civil movements.
