Hello, I’m Liurnia, a writer from Louisiana with a deep love for containment horror. I’ve been an avid reader of this Wikidot for three to four years but only applied a year ago due to external restrictions. Within this community, I see myself as an author, critic, and moderator, contributing (or at least trying to) to the ongoing creativity and discourse here.
For those just starting out in writing, my biggest piece of advice is to focus on clarity and tone. In genres like containment horror, atmosphere is everything. Choose your words carefully. Don’t rush to reveal too much. Let the mystery breathe. The scariest ideas are often the ones the reader imagines for themselves.
Don’t be afraid to accept critique. It’s tough, but every piece of feedback is a step toward honing your craft. Keep writing, even when it feels like nothing is working. Progress happens in the background, and persistence always pays off.
