SURVIVAL DIFFICULTY:
Class 1
- {$one}
- {$two}
- Singular Entity Presence
Level 916, dubbed "The Church Nursery", is a Euclidean closed space that looks like a church building with dull, red carpet. It has 4 accessible rooms, with the rest being cut off from access by retractable walls that have yet to be moved or destroyed. There are a few windows that have blinds that cannot be removed, opened, or seen through, yet small amounts of light do permeate the blinds. The temperature fluctuates between 20℃ and 10℃. There is no Wi-Fi.
Is this working? I saw this "Speech to Text" thingy on this new toy, and I wanna talk to someone. I wonder who Text is…?
One of the rooms resembles a nursery, with children's toys and a crib. Occasional crying or laughing has been heard from this room, but no source has been confirmed.
The next room contains art supplies and Bibles. There are crackers there, which have the effect of making the consumer completely satiated. The crackers are in a plain, nondescript box and will refill itself once every week. They really like my favorite crackers! and It is common for the art supplies to be randomly opened or closed, and the Bibles will sometimes have scribbling on the pages. Recently, the number of pages that are drawn on has increased.
The final room connects all these rooms, and it has many loose papers strewn about. Most of them are scribbled-on calendar pages from the years 2012–2017, and others are just blank. There is also an indestructible glass cabinet with old church artifacts, such as cooking supplies, Bibles, and a broken door handle, all dated from the 1990s, with the dates and names of said artifacts next to them inside the cabinet. One artifact, a crayon drawing of a girl saying, "Mommy! Come Back!" above a stick figure in a pink and purple dress with crayon tears is dated newer than all the other artifacts and is named "Molly".
There is a stairwell leading to a lower landing that, if gone down, will lead to two sets of doors. One is unopenable but shows a static image of a road and forest when viewed through the windows on the door. The other set of doors leads to level 2, quite abruptly. If the doors are left open for more than five minutes, they will swing closed with significant force, which can be dangerous due to the doors being very heavy.
I first saw her when I felt two creatures outside of my play place. I’m used to scaring away the bad creatures, but one of the creatures was a human and was running away from the bad creature. I scared the bad creature away, but the human opened my door and came into my play place. She is like Mommy.
Molly
The first manifestation of "Molly"
Entity Description
There is one entity in the level, and the first interaction you can encounter with it is a toy phone that stares at the nearest person. It will occasionally ring, and if answered, then a mysterious, high-pitched voice will say either "Is anyone there?" or "Please, come back!" before the call ends. This causes the listener to have an overwhelming feeling of loss. Ignoring the ringing is recommended.
I brought the phone over and called out to her. She slowly crouched down and answered me with a weird look on her face, and I tried to speak, but all I could say was, “Is anyone there?” Over and over again. She looked sad.
If you see a translucent, white figure with child-like proportions, whatever you do, do not leave the Level. Doing so will result in permanent blindness. If you stay in the level, drawing with a pink or purple crayon, smiling and waving, or dancing will make the figure go away.
I showed my true self to her, and she got scared and started backing up towards the door. I didn’t want to scare her, and I didn't want her to leave. I got really sad, so I started crying. She heard me crying and stopped being scared. She looked like Mommy looked when I got a boo-boo, and she looked at me like she cared about me. I stared at her and giggled when she tried to touch me because it tickled. She looked startled when I giggled, but she quickly started smiling. I used my hands to show her where my drawings were, and her eyes got all watery, but she was smiling.
This lady was nice like Mommy. I liked her. I wanted to give her a gift so she would like me too. I grabbed a pretty pink key and gave it to her. She seemed confused, but then she got happy! I was happy that she was happy, and I giggled with happiness until I got tired. I hid my true self and took a nap.
This figure is the second interaction you can have with "Molly". A "smiley face" drawn in pink or purple may appear on a drawing made by a wanderer. This will result in an inexplicable increase in happiness and dopamine levels for the person who made the drawing. This increase in happiness and dopamine levels will be needed, as you may start to feel depressed while in this level. Further research into the psychological effects of the level is needed, and the amount of power that Molly possesses is unknown.
There are several electrical outlets, which may be useful to wanderers who have stumbled upon the level. There are also lights that can be turned on and off in every room; however, they will flicker every time someone draws within the Level, and when the second manifestation of "Molly" appears, the lights will turn off.
For your own safety, do not anger Molly.
Discovery
After Dr. July was wandering Level 2, she found a set of wooden church doors. When she walked in, she entered Level 916. After that point, 4 other wanderers settled on this level. "Molly" appeared to the fifth wanderer soon after, causing the permanent blindness of the fifth wanderer, who is deceased due to unrelated events. The doors are open to all who manage to find it, as Dr. July has made a station there for those looking for shelter. Dr. July welcomes all to "The Nursery".
Dr. July and The Nursery are independent but are open to trade; they get intermittent supplies from the B.N.T.G. The infinite food and permanent absence of all entities excluding Molly makes living in the level more inviting, and if you take precautions, the level is livable.
The Nursery is the only community in Level 916.
(There is a current population of 4.)
All information about the level has been provided by Dr. July and other members of The Nursery.
When I woke up, the nice lady had brought more humans. There were 3 new humans to play with! They all looked tired. I showed my true self to the nice lady, and after she looked shocked for a little bit, she started talking to me. She said, 'Hello, I'm Doctor July. I brought some people to meet you'. Nice lady July then introduced me to her friends, who looked scared. I didn't want them to be scared, so I started drawing. Nice lady told her friends to draw with me, and soon, we were all drawing together. This made me so happy I giggled and danced. I got tired of all the dancing, so I decided to stop showing myself and go to sleep.
When I woke up again, there was a new friend, an old man. I wanted to play again, so I decided to show my true self. But the old man in front of me wasn't nice. He made loud screeching noises, and he tried to run away from me and went down the stairs to go through the door to my play place. When he tried to leave my play place without playing with me, I got really angry and started crying. I decided that if he didn't like looking at me, he wouldn't have to look at anything ever again. After that, I hid my true self and continued crying until I fell asleep.
The bad old man hasn't returned since, and it's just Nice Lady and 3 other nice people. They draw with me whenever I show myself to them. I can still only speak through my toy telly, but drawing works better anyway. I'm glad Nice Lady brought this new toy for me to play with; it's fun.
