Revelations
It goes back to the very origins of the Backrooms.
The very first god, the very first creator of this dimension.
He was proud of its creations and the world he built on his own.
Like a father, he carefully watched over his creations.
He eventually decided to create other gods and grant them a fraction of his power, to maintain a perfect equilibrium in the world he built.
Everything was fine, the god was satisfied.
He never got bored watching the evolution of its creations and what they would become.
That is until a foreign species ended up in his world.
He was puzzled at first, wondering how such a thing was possible.
He questioned his own powers, He went crazy over the fact that he couldn't control something.
As a way to comfort himself, he persecuted the humans who ended up in his world against his will, which he qualified as intruders.
He never directly caused their demise but rather enjoyed watching them suffer.
From the pain caused by the entities he himself created for this sole purpose.
To the various deadly environments and structures of countless levels he himself conceived for the very purpose of torturing humans both physically and mentally.
However, even if we were his sons, we pitied the humans and secretly disagreed about what our father was doing to them.
We had to watch them suffer in the cruelest ways all day long.
Some of my brothers couldn't take it anymore.
The suffering of these humans was transmitted indirectly to ourselves.
We couldn't let that continue forever, these humans haven't done anything wrong in the first place.
This was all about his ego.
One day, when our father was distracted, we all sneaked behind him, and all together, we unleashed all of our power on him.
To his misfortune, he gave us enough of his power to actually beat him.
That was because he never thought a single second his own sons he himself created would betray him.
That was because of his ego - because he thought everything he made was perfect.
But the consequences of his actions caught up to him.
Even as a god, he wasn't invincible after all.
He lost nearly all his powers and was severely injured, but he survived our attack.
Because he was still our father, we decided to let him live, but we imprisoned him in a secluded place apart from the rest of the Backrooms universe.
A place that he could never escape from.
Or so we thought.
Having witnessed what happened lately,
It seems our father is trying to break from his cell with the help of a group of your own kind.
We must put an end to all this and restore peace once and for all.
But, because he was the one who initially granted us his power, ours decreased as well as a consequence.
We can still create some entities, objects, and levels that could be beneficial to humans but we can't undo the "torture devices" nor the "monsters" our father created from the start.
All this has taught us a valuable lesson,
that fate should be determined by one's own acts and decisions.
My brothers are opposed to the idea of involving humans in this affair. They think humans have no chance against our father, so they want to settle this matter themselves, but I think otherwise; I believe that you, humans, are the ones who can truly stop our father.
I will do my best to provide anything you need, I count on you, humans.
