Level 726.

Description

Level 726 is a small (roughly 218 square feet) level that consists of a single room. It is adorned with a few chairs, a coffee table, a rug, a fireplace, and two windows which face a wooded exterior. Ever since I came to this level, I have watched the leaves outside turn from green to red and even snow fall, just like the Frontrooms. I think the passage of time in this level is asynchronous with that of the Frontrooms, but I have no way of confirming this theory aside from the fact that the time of day outside matches the time on my watch.

Though I have not recorded any entities present within Level 726, the windows will sometimes open on their own, the fireplace will be turned on, firewood will appear without a clear source in a pile beside it, and the scent of food cooking will fill the level, typically at night time.

Two dog bowls engraved with the name "Panda" were found within the level, one with dog food and the other water, both of which refill on a daily basis. Additionally, a journal was found on top of the coffee table, most of the contents of which describe the mundane life of the author, up until July 26th, 2024. I took the liberty of copying the entries of the journal following the day.

Bases, Outposts and Communities

M.E.G maintains an outpost consisting of 2 people, myself and Alex, on Level 726 in order to keep an eye on the comings and goings of Panda, as well as to keep track of the passage of time in the Frontrooms.

Sorry I haven't written much the last few days. I've been out everywhere looking for her, but I can't find her. I feel so lost.

I thought I would have more to say. But I guess I don't.

The strangest thing happened last night.

I filled her bowls out of habit, and when I woke up today, they were empty.

I don't know. Maybe she's still out there somehow? I'm going to fill them again and see what happens. Maybe set up one of Andy's trailcams in the living room to see what happens. I hope its not a raccoon getting in through the dog door in the kitchen.

Either way, I'm going to fill them up again. Hopefully she comes back to me.

I need her.

Upon reviewing the footage, I noticed two things.

1- Trailcam footage is so grainy.
2- Something happened.

I don't know what, but something tripped the movement sensor of the trailcam. I saw some water spill out of her water bowl, just as if she were drinking it. But there was nothing there. After a few minutes, the trailcam shut off again, and in the morning, the food and water were gone. I'm going to keep refilling it. If she's out there, she knows to come back here to eat and drink. She's smart. I hope whatever is keeping her away from me doesn't hold her long.

Andy thinks I've lost my mind. Says there is no way the food I put in the bowls is disappearing; that I'm making things up. He's threatening to put me in hospice, but I can't leave my Panda alone like this. I have to stay. I have to.
