Level 37-ID is the 38th level of Backrooms Indonesia. This level is a multi-story market building that has been closed down.
Description
One of the corridor of Level 37-ID.
Level 37-ID is a closed multi-story market complex. Its size and floor count are estimated to be infinite; the furthest documented exploration currently reaches the 40th floor, approximately 5 km from the stairs. The lighting on this Level is quite poor, with only a few dim lights, so it is recommended that you bring your own lighting equipment. The floors on this Level are extremely uneven, badly damaged, and littered with puddles. Advertising boards and store signs are often found hanging from the ceiling of the hallway. To date, only a single staircase has been located, with floors visible through the staircase walls.
Another corridor from Level 37-ID.
All stalls within Level 37-ID are permanently sealed by either metal rolling gates or wooden boards. Inside the stalls, several objects can be found, such as Almond Water, Royal Rations, Silent Liquid, and Lamps. However, due to the inherent danger from wandering entities, accessing stalls secured by rolling gates is strongly advised against. Nevertheless, the number of objects that can be found behind rolling gates is greater than behind wooden boards.
A random phenomenon occurs on Level 37-ID where a disembodied voice announces to the survivors: “The market is now closed; please evacuate immediately.”1. Owing to this auditory phenomenon, some survivors speculate that the Level will eventually open and begin trading. A stall belonging to the Kalasan Belakang Restaurant has also been found closed. A piece of paper stuck to the rolling door states, “We apologize for the inconvenience, but the Kalasan Belakang Restaurant will be closed until further notice,” reinforcing speculation that this Level will open someday.
Entity
There are many entities at Level 37-ID, such as Hound, Death Moth, Clump, and Skin Stealer. However, the native entity of this Level, dubbed by many survivors as “Tarso Rahaga's Dark Side,” is the one to be most wary of. This native entity is nearly identical to Tarso Rahaga, though distinct differences exist, such as its perpetually tapered hands, and various parts of its body that are damaged, destroyed, or misplaced. This entity is characterized by the inability to move while under direct visual observation.
One of the worst traits of Tarso Rahaga's Dark Side is its tendency to attack in groups. When the entity spots a survivor, the surrounding voices will change to: “A trespasser has been detected; all units, please respond.” This voice will attract the attention of Tarso Rahaga's Dark Side and other entities in the surrounding area. The simplest way to mitigate this is to flee the area immediately to avoid encirclement, or to successfully strike the head of an entity and conceal oneself within a stall2.
