1. All externally recorded or consciously held information about Level 343 is anomalously and automatically replaced with text containing some variation of an advertisement for a supposed telecommunications company under the moniker of Bluesky Telecom^TM. It is difficult to get around this, and document changes are not detected or registered by automatic systems, even replacing previous revisions. Note that people who have physically been to Level 343 are not subject to this effect. This may be circumvented by interjecting parts of the advert with the actual level information, though this requires the advert itself to also be informationally intact.

And if you’re reading this, that means I’ve succeeded.

2. All our currently known details and descriptions of Level 343 are taken from witness reports of people under its effects. Photographs and audio/video recordings are subject to the documentation effect when viewed by people who have not been to Level 343, and only one kind of item has ever been retrieved from it. However, I am inclined to believe the word of our only witnesses.

3. Regardless, reports of Level 343 are at least semi-consistent. The level is described as a dim, greyscale, and barren desert of stone and sand. No geological structures such as hills and mesas are present on its surface. The sky, if one exists, is covered entirely in thick, opaque clouds. Despite the lack of a visible light source, the level is always lit enough to be visible, even lacking shadows altogether. Temperature is unanimously reported as “nonexistent”, in the sense that it is an unobservable detail. Wifi and other such electromagnetic signalling is eternally present in the level, although any information coming out of the level is subject to the same aforementioned effect. No living entities have been reported thus far but I have a feeling they exist.

4. The most notable physical detail of the level is the abundance of large structures resembling the bones and skeletons of massive creatures — the only known structures in the level — towering over onlookers as if this were a graveyard of giants. If they were once alive, no living instances have ever been observed in the level, and they do not match the descriptions of any entities currently in our database. The bones in question vary in state — some as intact skeletons, and others as fragments strewn about the landscape. A number of them were reported to have been in positions unnatural or downright impossible for dead creatures — such as standing — and these positions are often supported by seemingly artificial structures, though it’s difficult to imagine that any humans could have been responsible for them. In addition to this, a large chunk of these skeletons have various structures or devices attached and/or fused to them. They are typically of advanced design and unknown in origin and function, though some parts have been reported to resemble things such as sections of cell towers, satellite dishes, and various other antennae (of the electronic kind).

5. Perhaps the most significant of the structures is a semi-complete, semi-humanoid skeleton that towers over the others. Its spine is somewhat erect, partially held up by long, thick metal poles bolted to the ground. Atop and across the back of this spine is constructed a large structure that has been described to resemble the Eiffel Tower, a giant science fiction weapon, or a telecommunications tower, amongst other things. This discrepancy likely indicates that it is none of these things exactly, though it is possible the structure changes in appearance. Whatever it is, it’s no doubt the centrepiece of all this, and it certainly has all the answers.

6. Fortunately for everyone, those who venture into Level 343 always make it out alive. However, this does not mean they come out the same person that they came in. Is it a bad change? Well, I suppose that depends on your perspective.

7. Visitors of this level will inevitably come across the main structure and be subject to an indescribable phenomenon, followed by them falling unconscious for an undetermined period of time. When they awaken, they will find that they now possess a router/modem-like object or other similar-looking device. This device is in some cases partially fused to a non-discomforting body part, and those affected by this will unequivocally refuse to remove or give away the object, on the grounds that it gives them comfort and access to an inconceivable amount of information. Put it that way, and it is appealing.

8. It is also a good time to mention that anyone who views the advertisement, including you, is psychologically urged to seek the level out. This can be combated with conscious effort, but many people have fallen to it. Though, to be frank, it is quite enticing, isn’t it? Directions to the level are never listed on the advert, though anyone who reads it automatically knows how to get there. Entrances are highly inconsistent and only work for affected persons.

9. Finally, anyone who has been to Level 343, while psychologically intact, experiences changes in demeanor. They are more social and talkative, but most notably, they become rather preoccupied with informing others of the advert and the level — despite the fact that third parties have yet to observe obvious benefits to doing so — under the claim that they now work for Bluesky Telecom. But of course, third parties have never experienced what they have.

10. See, the automatic assumption of any human in the Backrooms is that anything — including other people — that is even slightly strange or mysterious is unequivocally untrustworthy, and for good reason. Humans think they are alone. But that isn’t always true, or at least it doesn’t have to be.

11. Imagine, just for second, that you could know everything that everyone else does. What if you could spread it to anyone, anywhere without a single hurdle? Isn’t that why we’re both here?

Presented to you now, is that very opportunity. All you have to do is be willing.
