Balihud Hotel
Description
Balihud Hotel is a high-rise hotel of infinite height, combining traditional Indonesian style, specifically Balinese customs, with a modern aesthetic. This level has a very fast Wi-Fi network available in all rooms and floors, and air conditioning is available throughout the area so that the room temperature and humidity are always constant. The highest floor explored at the time of writing is 1718, and it bears no notable difference from the floors below it. There are no entities on this level, so it is safe to explore and inhabit. There are various types of rooms and facilities on each floor, all of which can be used immediately by survivors, from kitchens to ready-to-use bedrooms. However, survivors must bring their own food and equipment, as the level does not provide either. Issues regarding facility sharing may arise among inhabitants; thus, new survivors must adhere to the established rules of the preexisting community to prevent conflicts.
One of the room designs
Every survivor who wants to stay in the level must follow the instructions provided by survivors who have lived there before, because not all locations can be passed through or inhabited due to spatial anomalies that can be found in various locations. These distortions cause the affected structures to take on unnatural shapes, such as twisted corridors, rooms containing furniture that is unrecognizable as furniture, and statues that appear swollen or misshapen. Survivors who enter a distorted zone will experience the same distortive effects as the structures within that location. Therefore, warning signs and physical barriers have been installed to prevent survivors from approaching distorted areas for safety reasons. Most corridors can mislead survivors who do not follow the instructions correctly and can cause survivors to disappear after entering the wrong corridor or room. The distorted locations are not in the same position on each floor, so the markers will be very helpful for new survivors. The numerous statues and ornaments found throughout the level are known to induce significant discomfort if stared at for too long. This lasting effect imparts a persistent feeling of being watched upon the survivor. The directive to avoid staring at all statues and ornaments must be strictly followed.
Bases, Outpost, and Communities
This level has become a gathering place for survivors due to its safety and support for long-term survival. It is unclear exactly how many survivors currently reside in this level, as their numbers fluctuate unpredictably.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
- This level can be accessed by entering an abandoned building on Silent Ascent.
- Entering the hotel building with a temple-like gate at various city-themed levels will take survivors to this level.
Exits
- Survivors can return to Silent Ascent by passing through a small alley outside the Reception area.
- There is a small chance that survivors will be sent to the Saneless Show store if they use noclip on the television available in each room.
- Soaking too long (more than 1 hour) in the bathroom at the bathhouse will transport you to the Marine ocean.
- Touching the rice field image in the hallway will send survivors to Land of Earth.
