Level 1.1 - Corrupted Corridor

Description: Level 1.1 is a sub-level of Level 1. It is a very long but not infinite corridor that exhibits increasingly anomalous effects the further one travels into it. It features the Tunnel Gang, a band of scrappy explorers fighting with the M.E.G. for possession of the level and attempts to reach the end of the level. Another highlight of Level 1.1 is the enigmatic Sector 5, an unconfirmed area of the level that no explorer has ever exited alive.
Comments: Level 1.1 was my first article on the Wikidot. It took quite a few crits to improve from its original state, and I’m pretty proud of the way it turned out. I tried to give this level my own twist on the “creepy hallway” idea, adding things like the glitchy later parts of the level, a unique group that only exists in this level, and some logs to help spice things up. Overall, Level 1.1 was really fun to write and gave me a nice introduction into writing for the wiki.

Description: Not sure how to write a description for this one. I guess I’ll leave it up to your interpretation?
Comments: Format screwing is harder that I thought! It took many lines of failed CSS nonsense and messages in the #tech-help channel of the Discord, but I think it turned out okay. I could have sold it better with mimicking the 404 page, but I thought I did a good job of making the level edgy without it being too generic.

Entity 456 - Frost Boars

“Do not enter the cave of a squall. No explorer has been known to exit these caves alive.”
Description: Frost Boars are small, mammal-like entities that inhabit levels with very cold climates. They are extremely aggressive and often attack explorers on sight. Their pelts are extremely cold-resistant and are often used in cold-weather clothing.
Comments: The Frost Boars were my first entity on the wiki, and I have to say that I think I started out a little shaky in the entities department. I think I could have done a lot more with this but got “author fever” and tried to get it over with so I could become an official author. I still think that the concept is cool, and wasn’t trying to do anything particularly special with this entity so it turned out pretty well in my eyes at least.
