Entity 227-X Researches, 31/April/2025, Location: Syndicate Safehouse 711
Further researches were made about this Entity 227-X and we've drawn many answers that may solve this conundrum.
First, we discovered Entity 227-X had a hidden compartment at the center of its body. Inside, a single purple crystal with a strange cosmic-like substance inside.
Object 227-A: "The Rift Crystal"

Object 227-A.
After several experiments and a hundred hours of research, we have concluded that this crystal possesses spatial shifting properties, capable of generating spatial rifts enabling small objects to vanish. It should also be noted that these rifts cannot be perceived by any means, but, if we rely on the pattern established, objects bigger than a bottle of almond water are not affected by the crystal's properties, as such, it is relatively safe to approach Object 227-A. Additionally, we have noted that the crystal generates these rifts passively, as no interaction or triggering has been carried out on our part.
Two theories have been presented to us: either the objects affected by the rifts have been removed from reality, or they have been teleported from point A to point B (as yet unknown). The first theory seemed logical at first glance, since we were unable to trace the objects after they disappeared. We even tried sending small cameras that were broadcasting live, but again, no signal could be received.
That is what we thought until the April 24th incident.
April 25th 2025 Incident
A pivotal event in our research led us to the conclusion.
At 09:27am SBT, Dr. Gabriel Nox suddenly disappeared as he was about to conduct an experiment with Object 17. Both him and the crystal had disappeared and no communication could be established with our fellow comrade. Despite my best efforts and those of my team, we collectively admitted that we had given up hope of seeing him return, as we thought he might have ended up in the abysmal depths of the Backrooms. And, the experiments were suspended as we lost the only sample of this crystal. That's when, about one week after the incident, I received an encrypted transmission from Dr. Nox on my personal radio, like a benediction from the sky. The information we extracted from the transmission marked a turning point in our research, but given the content of the transmission and the way Dr. Nox expressed himself, we unfortunately declared him KIA.
"Rest in peace brother, you'll be remembered for your sacrifice."
The conundrum is finally solved. These entities originates from the secluded "lands of Liberation" and they can appear in the Backrooms main lands thanks to Object 227-A's properties.
If we reverse engineer and find a way to improve Object 227-A's abilities, we may be able to use it as a way to enter Liberation's closed "paradise" network without the need to pass through Level 997.
All we need to do now is collecting more samples of this crystal. Maybe the Backrooms Robotics Division could help us develop a weapon that could take down these Entities? Like an anti-air system?
