Evi'ka had set up a meeting with Seras Valentina in Level 105; a Level not yet occupied by Liberation. The Pantheon pillars1 normally avoid interacting directly with humans as it could be harmful to themselves, but, in these hard times, both parties needed each other.

Evi'ka: Here you are. Seeking revenge are you?

Seras: So are you? This has gone too far. Despite the Resistance's greatest efforts to contain the corruption, I'm afraid that they're going to lose the battle at this rate. This demon of Father Delacroix who hid under the mask of "Overseer S" should have been stopped from the very start. I know we can't change the past, but we can change the future, such is the reason for my coming. I will cut this serpent's head off.

Evi'ka: Sure, but I'm afraid you won't come back alive.

Seras: I already made up my decision. You do need a human and I need a god. We have a common agreement.

Evi'ka: Indeed, if I resume my request, I do need a human willing to… How can I say it… Sacrifice himself. But not any humans. I do need a human with a strong will, a will strong enough to break the Chains of Hell.

Seras: I bet that you can already tell from yourself, how strong is my will.

Evi'ka: Ah-ah, of course, I already know that.

Evi'ka: Well, you probably don't know about it, but we, pillars of the Pantheon can't use our powers that easily. We need another life form as an intermediary to transmit some of our power.

Seras: I see.

Evi'ka: That's not all… It is highly likely that we will have to face my father face to face, so I'm afraid the standard process won't be enough. I'm going to give you all my power, including my own spirit. But the problem is that your body will not be able to bear this amount of spiritual energy in the long term. Your body will become unstable and your organs will shut down after the timer expires, and my spirit will also fade once you die… To sum it up, you and I won't survive after that.

Seras: I'm fine with it, I have nothing to lose any more since Father Delacroix took everything from me… Now it's my turn to take everything from him. But for you… Well… I can't force you…

Evi'ka: It's good for me too. I have thought about this a lot, just like you, I'm doing it for humanity. My brothers will make sure this type of incident won't happen again even in my absence, I am certain.

Alright, I'm telling you once more. There is no turning back. Even as a god, I can not undo the process.

Seras closes her eyes while bowing to Evi'ka. The god then places his hand on her head as he recites a passage from a sacred text.

Seras could feel a burning sensation within her body. It was burning her inside as she screamed from the pain. The sacred flame was spreading within her body as it started to slowly consume her from the inside. The timer mentioned by Evi'ka was set and can not be undone.

Seras: Huff. So… That's it?…

Seras: Evi'ka?… Where are you??

Evi'ka: My physical form disappeared and my spirit is in you, although both my consciousness and yours are distinctively separated. We are basically two within a single body, however, you remain master of your own body… Well, I know this is awkward, but I told you this was going to happen…

Seras: This is a strange sensation indeed. I can communicate directly with you without speaking… You're like an imaginary friend, except you're… real.

Evi'ka: Exactly. But don't worry, you'll get used to it. Now that you have my sacred flame, our time is running out. We must eliminate Father Delacroix and his organization before the flame goes out.

Seras: Count on me.

Evi'ka: I have no doubt about th-

Amadeus: So what do we got here?

Evi'ka: Amadeus!? It's Evi'ka speaking! Back off before you meet an unfortunate ending!

Seras: Don't talk on my behalf, please?

Evi'ka: [speaking in her mind] I'm sorry, but the individual before us is an extremely dangerous member of the Iron Fist, an organization not so better than Liberation. Let me handle it.

Amadeus: What the hell? Don't tell me that this douchebag from the Pantheon is… in you?

Evi'ka: Exactly.

Amadeus: AHAHAHAH! I didn't know you could pull up such sorcery bullshit like that!- Anyways. Normally, I wouldn't wait another second to behead a Pantheon scum! But I, the great Amadeus Ludwig Steele, have come in peace this time.

Evi'ka: I do not trust you, Amadeus. I, too, can not wait to drag you up the grand staircase of the Pantheon while your body crumbles to the ground leaving fragments of your skins as a trail.

Amadeus: Uh!? Why don't you try it yourself instead of opening your big mouth? COME ON, COME AT ME EVI'KA, SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!!

Seras: CUT THE CRAP BOTH OF YOU! I don't know the story between you two, but, Amadeus is that? You just said you came in peace right?

Amadeus: I like you fellow human. The others usually tremble with fear at the mere mention of my name, but you… You're interesting.

Evi'ka: Get straight to the point Amadeus. Stop wasting our time.

Amadeus: Liberation… Those enlightened fuckers killed the three-quarters of the Backroom population. And they…

Amadeus: THEY REDUCED THE AMOUNT OF PREY FOR US GODHAND! IT HAS BECOME NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO CATCH ONE SINCE THEY BASICALLY FUCKING KILLED EVERYONE! AND THE SURVIVORS ARE NOW HIDING IN RABBIT HOLES… GREAT! THANK YOU RELIGIOUS ASSHOLES, YOU FUCKING PIECE OF-

Seras: OK, ENOUGH! What's your point?

Amadeus: I hate to admit it but I thought maybe… We could work together? My followers are killing machines and never back down, whatever the treat is in front of them! You-have-my-word!

Seras: …

Evi'ka: …

Amadeus: …

Amadeus: No, seriously. I know I may be an inconsiderate asshole but I don't want my own kind to be extinct either!? Don't we all agree on that?

Seras: I'll talk to the Syndicate director, Jacqueline Guzman. She'll decide whether they want you and your army or not.

Amadeus: I don't know who the fuck is this Jacqueline you're talking about, but… Okay? Well, I'm off, I've got things to do, let me know when you have an answer!

Evi'ka: What a psycho… I can't believe it. To get to this point, we should all be desperate to destroy Liberation.

Seras: So. You said our time was counted?

Evi'ka: Correct, we got approximately 90 days worth of life.

Seras: [smiling in approval] All right, then. So we shouldn't waste any more time. And, thanks again Evi'ka. We will defeat corruption, no matter what lies ahead. For all those who have fallen and will fall in this battle.
