The page was the interesting to read so I will give an upvote, but I was little confused as to what the story was. Her mother was killed by an entity? What was the talk about her mother not existing?
Her mother was killed on protag's birthday as a child in a home invasion (the glistening of metal and the stranger carrying it implies someone unknown holding a weapon) the mother actually does exist but is dead
