i have some spelling and grammar things to point out:
It looks like this level is fully functional in its ecosystem. If that makes sense to say.
The period between "ecosystem" and "if" should be a comma instead.
Maybe they will do some honey out of it?
Honey is made, not done. I think "make" is correct here over "do".
This morning was chilly, so for the first time in a while I grabbed a jacket from the closet.
I believe there should be commas between "so" and "for" and between "while" and "I".
These extremely minor blemishes aside, great article, pretty sweet (pun intended) and written from a neat perspective. It could maybe benefit from a little more meat on its bones, but that's no dealbreaker. Good job!
