Seeing that we are the english branch of the backrooms, we have a problem that people use both metric and imperial, and our poor authors shouldn't have to go through the grueling process of opening a new tab and searching miles to kilometers and then inserting (gasp) numbers. So I present: banana based units, we can easily use bananas for length, weight, and volume. Then we can also use it for many other stuff we can make a new temperature: b where 0 is absolute 0 and 100 is the temperature a banana melts at. time, as in how long it takes a banana to ripen. And we can also use bananas to measure radiation. Gone are the days of muricans being too stupid/stubborn to learn metric and everyone else thinking that imperial is a joke and it isn't worth the brainpower learning it, now are the days when people realize the superior way to measure things: bananas. If we accept this we will be able to say 10 kilobananas in length instead of metric (imperial).
I almost forgot to explain the abbreviations, banana system™ works similar to metric, but better, the prefixes are the exaxt same as metric (kilo k, centi c, mili m), but the units are different. Length is Bl (banana length), mass is Bm (banana mass), volume is Bv (banana volume), temperature is b (weird mixture of kelvin and celcius), time is Bt (banana time), and radiation is Br (banana radiation). To give some examples something could weigh 10 cBm or be 5 kBl away
