Why most characters don't have explained appearences?

You probably already know this, but I noticed that most characters don't have a explained appearance, just mentions. The Biggest example in my opinion would be Overseers of the M.E.G. They don't have a explained appearance or we don't know how they look like. Why is this the case?

Some of the reason may come from a more active discord than wiki; I remember there being many drawings of the Overseers on Discord and they all maintained the same basis for each of them
There's also the thing that pages get deleted a lot, so there might be a lot of stories for someone but that's someone main base page describing them might've been deleted

I don't know the answer, but I feel like most of the MEG overseers will eventually appear in the Industrialization canon. They have more influence there, and seem to appear more. They also seem to interact with unsavory groups more there, such as the UEC.
