i love the concept here, although the execution could benefit from a bit more depth. as of now, we don't really know that much about the relationship between the narrator and their friend. we know that the friend died in a car accident, but not about the aftermath. by the time we meet the narrator, they've already emotionally recovered from the tragedy, which i think could be better communicated by having their feelings transition throughout the course of the diaries.
the level description itself warrants more clarifications. how would wanderers know about the level's properties if they've never visited friend's house in question? what form would the level take for someone who has never experienced the loss of a friend? what about those who have friends that live in apartments or trailers? i would've liked to see more elaboration on various aspects of the level's structure.
overall, i noticed some instances of stilted sentence structure and prose scattered here and there, but those are nitpicks.
