At the moment, there's lot of weird things connected barely by a stray message or two.
At the moment, Blanche is related to Evangeline Holmes by a mailing letter, The Grand Orion is related to Kimiko by (I think?) Species, and a few other people are. Blanche is a mask wearer, made obvious by the columbina mask in her level, but is she a masked maiden? I kinda doubt it, it the possibility is there.
Grand Orion talked to Kimiko about what had happened in the front rooms during war, and explained that her and him were the same general type of person. Kimiko is a Kitsune, which is a yokai, and she wears a Kitsune mask. As are Oni. And grand Orion wears an Oni mask… And he states he's killed many of her kin, and Oni have killed many kitsune. Sooo… Is Grand Orion a literal Japanese Oni?
Lastly, what's currently the most recent state of the Masked Maidens chronologically? Are we still in the aftermath of the raid of level (weird u shape), or are we before/after it?
