I am so happy about this accomplishment! Thank you to everyone who helped me with this and gave me those oh so precious checkmarks and approval that I needed to refine this until it was up to Backrooms Wikidot standards!
I love outer space and I was still reeling from the loss of my friend group due to my own actions so I wrote this to blow off some steam. I never would've thought that it would have eventually gotten so far as to get approved, and yet here I am. God, I feel so awesome.
The stars' speech patterns are inspired by Hollow Knight's grandiose dialogue and prose (thank THAT for introducing me to the wonderful world of AO3 and writing) and their constant insults towards humanity are inspired by Transformers and how the Decepticons and other baddies constantly insult humans and refer to them as insects and parasites
Special thanks to Praetor for inspiring me to lean further into the "these stars are just desperately trying to preserve their home and they're acting like pricks because they see us as fleas on the devil's asshole" instead of the "teehee stars silly murder monsters make you go die die" angle I went with at first
