nothing spectacular, but isn't really gunning to be. Stays true to the original, but is still boringly short and uninteresting. Like, I recognise this is Level 188 we're talking about. It's the utter epitome of bland level, but eh. Maybe a little bit more meat on the bones for the description would be nice. Not to say the concept should be expanded too far, 188's simplicity is really novel, but two paragraphs is just… not enough. You could argue consiseness is key, and I can't really refute that opinion, but I think it could've done with more.
I'll be honest, I didn't read the logs, and nor do I… plan to. I'm sure it's a good plot and has some neat revelations, but damn it is longer than the whole description. I personally don't have the engagement to read about the characters, and its length is kinda putting me off reading it. Obviously, can't offer crit on it really! I'll just assume it's good.
So, yeah, it's fine. Like, it's not noteworthy or anything special, and frankly just feels like a 2020 article with a 2023 log slapped on it (which, hey, not that far off lmao)
I was toying between downvoting and novoting, but I have chosen to downvote due to my issues with actually engaging in the level, its overly short description, and its long logs. Usually I save novotes for special edge-cases, and this ain't one of them.
Also your entrances and exits fucking suuuuuuuck. Like, I know it's a shitty nitpick, but it's such a sad copout to see people say "most outdoor levels" or only use levels in the first 20 or so levels. I made the graph for a reasonnnnnnn…..
