Snipe lmao ok, fr this time, ehh. Generic world ending event here and I honestly fell asleep half way through. It’s way too long for what it is. It also doesn’t understand it’s place in the Backrooms compared to something like liminal echo, it feels written like a bootleg end of the world scp. (Insert Luigi sleeping after reading gif.)

I felt obligated to finish this. There was little passion put into this, unfortunately. I just couldn’t start and abandon yet another draft. I ran out of ideas half-way through lmao

As for why it’s boring, I wrote this in the format of a research paper, using language typical of such.

But sure, I’ll let it stay for now.

Actually quite enjoyed this.

Writing was excellent at the start; it kinda puttered out towards the end and started feeling a little repetitive (you really didn't need to mention level 38 three separate times), but the good impression had been made.

Might have liked a little box with a cataclysm prophecy from an ancient text. Would've built things up more ominously.

Good payoff, still. I liked the ending.

Yeah, this was a fun entry!

I feel like this is subtly a metanarrative under the surface but I enjoyed what was present here. Even referencing levels that usually get glossed over was a nice touch!

I agree with TheGamerBoy11. The writing style is well-crafted and detailed, but it both drags longer than it should and feels more like an SCP than a Backrooms article. Would have upvoted if it was posted on the other wiki.

Then again, the notes really do help set up the ominous tone. Wavering on the edge of a novote.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the section, "In the Event of an Apocalypse".

In that kind of event, the probability of survival is barely just above 0. (And I mean "just barely". Infinitesimally above. Well with any error of measurement.) About the only thing one can do when faced with that eventuality is to gather your friends &/or loved ones around you, & all get heavily self-medicated.

Summary:

Near the destroyed remains of Level 78, a star, known as Nibiru, is near the end of its life. When it dies, the star will explode into a supernova. Levels are also physically near each other. If the star explodes, it can cause total destruction throughout many levels, which can cause the end of The Backrooms.
