can you give us context on what the tide did? it was a little confusing
Eureka moment!
Really? is that why the second image is red and glitchy (I kinda think a Tsunami would fit more then a tide, when Tsunamis covers everything)
the tide is more beautiful and more peaceful, isn’t it?
这只是个开场。
It is beautiful, but peaceful? I'm not sure if a tide that eats things (people and their souls) and erases them from existence and makes everyone forget is peaceful at all
not quite right.
the process of tide swallowing everything is not like a tsunami. in fact, it can even be very smooth, you know? something is drowning everything but slowly and quietly, there is no contradiction at all.
the text fades slowly after pressing the button, don't you think it’s a manifestation of ‘peaceful’?

The page gets real unnerving, especially towards the end, it's nailed. Added to the deep sense of liminality that I somehow got from picturing an empty beach, this page is pretty high quality.
+1 From me.
The tide is coming.
At the beginning of the second transcript, where the nameless agent is sent to investigate what happened to the base, he states he was "appointed by Dr. Scott Spencer to explore Level 997"
Is that a typo? Or was he supposed to say he was sent to explore level 997?
Idk why but whenever I find a level that is classified as habitable it makes me be like🤔🤔🤔
does anyone see these forum signatures, also why does this have more space than the description
I think that overall, this is a really good level, with the reveal of what's going on with the ocean being pretty solid, though, it does have a few hiccups (Mostly being the weird variance in Richee's tone and mood- he plays ducks and drakes despite being in an important mission and has someone watching his back about it, then, a few lines later, he describes the "intoxicating sensation" and "vastness of the peaceful and grand sea" (Also, do take this with a truckload of salt, I'm not a professional writer either!)
But, like I said, it's otherwise p damn freaky if I do say so myself
+1
The concept and execution of this level are outstanding. Not much more to be said besides I really appreciate the "peaceful but deadly" feel. Too many writers (in my opinion) bank on the concept that there are dangerous entities or an overtly hostile level, and not enough similar to this.
(And that's not to imply articles that do are bad, just that this is exceptional)
10/10
I actually wonder, is there a siren like sound when the tide is coming? I thought it be a neat thing
