I'm kind of writing a tale concerning this so I just wanted to ask:
How do people apply to organizations like the MEG for instance? Some other groups have standards on ways of thinking or people just flock their way, but MEG as I understood it is more of a general organization, so I was wondering can anyone who wants to contribute just join? Or do they need to go through some kind of test?

I imagine for the MEG it's like applying for a job in the frontrooms. You let them know that you want to join, give them some sort of resume, they interview you, and you join as some entry level position, for example helping transfer supplies to their bases, or organizing their paperwork. I also feel like you could volunteer for them although you'd get less benefits than if you work for them as an employee
