Backrooms Wiki vs K. Pixels vs Fandom: Opinions?

Summary:

To my knowledge, there are 3 very different takes on the backrooms. How do you feel about them, here on the Backrooms Wiki?

The Backrooms Wikidot is this page here. It shows all 999 levels, entities, has a huge social community, and very organized, high standards. Imo, this is "the best" adaption of the backrooms, as the higher standards lead to better content. If a stranger asked me to describe the Backrooms, all of my info owuld be based from here. This is simply an opinion, however.

The Kane Pixels adaption of The Backrooms is much different. The Backrooms serve as a containment space, with levels definitely based on popular liminal spaces, such as the Poolrooms. There is also that one entity, The Parasite, I think? This world is much smaller than other adaptations, plus, is mainly set to be shown on Youtube. I think that this one is fine, especially because it has caused this wiki to grow stronger with more people.

Now, The Backrooms Fandom. I think that this one, quite frankly, just doesn't have very high standards. Instead of raising the bar every article, they just graze it. Is this a problem? Not really, but this is a much more unorganized, low-quality showing of The Backrooms. They do have many different levels than this wiki, level numbers going into thousands, and that is pretty cool.

I haven't used fandom that much and yeah, Fandom is quite low quality and because it is easily vandalized, it is said to not be canon anymore. But sometimes I mix up my Backrooms headcanon with all three canons. And I do love Kane Pixels too, after the incident on which they discovered a cluster of "parallel" holes, it seemed they sealed it off and just used the area, that is the starting point, to be the containment area. more like a research site, but at least, some parts are filled in. All dangerous areas are sealed off in my opinion, and Level 0, in the Kanon (Kane Pixels canon), was connected to either Level 9 or a darker and more dangerous sub level of Level 11. The Backrooms Wiki, in my opinion, gives information that is quite more reliable and only members are allowed to edit, which is cool, because there will be no vandalism from anonymous people.

You left out the Liminal Archives' interpretation. It's not my favorite (the WIkidot certainly is the one I prefer), but since it's such a big one, I thought I'd point that out.

The fandom does seem chaotic with little to no regulations/quality-control taking place, and the Kane Pixels version is more of a completely different universe than the ones I like. It could be argued it's only showing a small portion of the Backrooms in that cannon, but even still, it lacks creative freedom with different cannons, focusing on only one.

What I like about the Wikidot is the creative freedom and the story narrative. You don't see anything like that in the other places. For Kane Pixels, we obviously can't interact with that, since it's his own videos showcasing his own interpretation. It's cool, but not as diverse and interesting as this one is, at least as it currently stands. The Liminal Archives one is more scientific than SCP itself is, with no themes, next to no narrative, no groups like the M.E.G., and none of the creative freedom that brings me to the Backrooms in the first place. It's written purely from a scientific perspective, which takes away from the character and lore-building elements that I enjoy here.

I used to read from the Liminal Archives and I am feeling a bit more stressed out reading too many writings in four websites and writing articles. What made me cringe a bit about Fandom is that the articles don't explain the levels that much as the Wiki.

I only use the Wikidot's content and consider that the sole cannon(s) for writing on here. The only time I look at fandom is to make sure I'm not plagiarizing with a new idea I come up with. Other than that, I don't even look at the others anymore.
