I don’t see what’s so funny. It annoyed me more than it was funny, and the code is wonky and breaks temporarily after like 1.1%. I can’t be bothered to sit through this whole thing so I checked the source code and sure enough it was just a “haha I just wasted your time” joke. Not really very funny.

I share your sentiment. It's more of a "oh hey look at me i'm absolutely just a time waster!" more than anything (not meant to be demeaning). If it's gonna be a joke level, there needs to be a punchline. This definitely does not punch.

The "punch" of this level is around the 0.2% mark where you realize what's going on, the rest of it is just so it makes sense in-universe.
The page loading isn't the punchline, it's an Easteregg.

Yeah, it's probably just my sense of what a "joke" level should be. To me, there needs to be a punchline. Something that makes the level funny. This didn't do it for me, sorry. Time wasters don't really make me chuckle.
