This Guy
Where did he come from, where does he go? Where did he come from, Cotton Eye Joe.

I don't know here he is going, but he came from Dark Souls for sure hahaha
Theres a Blue Knight too
To me it has to be the randomness. The endless possibilities allow for so much to happen, appear, and be created. Another aspect I love is the sense of loneliness and abandonment. You're dropped off in this hellscape and forced to survive with these dangerous, bloodthirsty entities after you. It really intrigues me.
Absolute secrecy must be upheld by any means necessary ~ The Vault
Yes. Isolation and the human will to survive.
Also, in the Frontrooms, the "paranormal" is just a brief flicker of another reality: nonhuman beings, "cryptids" and monsters, fae, ghosts, etcetera. In the Backrooms, monsters and the "paranormal" are the natural order of things. Danger can haunt and hunt you. Things unimaginable manifest here.

Some people like to imagine that the cryptids and paranormal creatures of the our world are escaped entities from the Backrooms.
A neat little thought, for sure.

Level 6.1 I think
Yeah, that's really cool :)
@pearbranch14823
I'll have to say level -998 and entity 100. I powerscale in my free time so these are dear to my heart due to how high they scale and how powerful they are. Otherwise, I haven't found any level that nails the backrooms feel, one which is mysterious, dreamcore, and makes you feel like life isn't real, you know? I do really like level 790 and level 94.

To me, it's the randomness of events, something that always manages to be unpredictable.
An endless maze of yellow rooms and hallways was turned into an infinite labyrinth of possibilities.
It's like rolling a dice with infinite faces (basically a sphere, but okay), how are you supposed to know what's coming?
Please mind the Forest.
The Backrooms Remodeling Group, one of my favorites.
prolly the utter chaos of the backrooms. emstable in lvl 22 was cool too
Cut your mind out of your head with the sharpest piece of sky you can find
someone has finally asked…;-;
SO, I love the E. Isle lore and the Icarus Procidens Enigmatic Level lore! Shows the mystery of the Backrooms and makes us question it even more. Plus, they're kinda creepy in a way…
As a lot of people said here, yes, the concept of the backrooms being there would be the most interesting thing…I for some reason really like the idea of reality going to hell and any kind of supernatural thing being possible, as well as there being a lot more to the world than humans, and them becoming a group trying to survive rather than something dominative.
…though humans do seem dominative in that we document the levels…whatever, good enough.
The sense of danger and infinite possibility appeals to me.
As for more specific things I would have to say the Keymaster, Level 611, Red and Blue Knight(Stormstone Keep), Gentleman of L5 and Bellhopper, L974…that's a bit much…
Update: added E73 to the list.
I think the story about level 404 and the Overseers is the most interesting although it is kinda hard to understand.
-The infamous radioactive piece of bread.
The partypoopers. RIP you will be missed
Well, for me I love how some levels or entities that can't even exist and most levels have no reason why they are there and are physically impossible, and I love that stuff complete and utter chaos and surplus of hundreds of levels and entities, also the sandbox oh boy A-lot of stuff, and that what I have to say about the backrooms.
If something seems impossible, then you may have to give up a piece of yourself and to give up something so important for just a small chance, would you take it.
The fall of the Emstable, a society that existed in level 22. It really remembers me movies like Snowpiercer or The Pit!
for me i guess i like the idea of the rooms being alive like a universe sized organism is it malicious? how can it effect its rooms?
BiohazardMon
I just have a unique obsession with all things backrooms. The coolest part for me however is the unimaginable variety of entities and levels. There are tameable entities that can help you survive, and others hell-bent on ending you, same for levels. My favorite entity however has to be Entity 18. He is a persuasive and malicious entity relying on trickery to capture "prey"

What I find so intriguing is that the Backrooms give off nostalgia and horror because it is like going back and living in your past. It is just like a game where the entities represent what you fear while traversing and going on levels that are starting to be more dangerous. The more safe it may seem, the more dangerous the outcome may be if you stay for long.
Weird entities, like entity 100 or entity number 56, I also have a passion for corrupted files in the wiki or clasified ones
My favorite is probably the children of the void canon. That canon needs more recognition
God Save The King
In my opinion the vague description on what the backrooms really is, it really opens it up to interpretation, there is no set path, your idea of the backrooms is just as possible as someone elses interpretation. If there is even a correct answer.
does anyone see these forum signatures, also why does this have more space than the description
I'm a fan of habitable Levels, even ones that are barely habitable. If you can find a way to live, then you should be good. I also enjoy entities that seem to possess a human level of intelligence.
