Anyone else like the idea of a "vanilla canon" here with a summary of the "main" aspects of the backrooms that appear in a majority of levels (Creation of M.E.G., The Lost, Overseers, Major POIs, exit methods, etc.)? There's a lot of vanilla canon elements that are implied throughout the levels and entities but that are hard to pick up as a newcomer, and especially for someone wanting to write a level that doesn't apply to one of the special canons already found on the canon page.
It wouldn't mean the creation of a "main timeline", because that would go against the subjectivity of the backrooms, which is a strength, but rather a broad and general summary of the major elements of the sort of basic canon that a lot of the articles on here are written in.
(account deleted)Forgive me if this sounds like the question of someone with inexperience, but wasn't there a Canon that Level 0 was the only level of The Backrooms? Though, I digress. +1.
That doesn’t exist, and for good reason. Because it’s boring and you can do at max 1 level page. All the stuff canons thrive on you straight up can’t do at all. A canon like that is such a bad idea, that it’s not surprising it can be found in Fandom
