Like Praetor said, this article is just split between different tones and vibes. Not one of these actually has the time to develop as it changes topic seemingly haphazardly. This page should have probably not had any twists at all in the first place if you planned to keep it short, although this last point might be a little subjective, even if it does affect my vote.

There's a severe clash of tones in the article, where your usual very fluid narrative descriptive tone exist with pure clinical and cold writing. Things like the statistics and the table definitely made me cut from the page because the subtle narration was gone was well. The last paragraph definitely seals this, with a very cold and descriptive tone, instead of making me feel the page like the earlier sentence.

It feels like you have written your pages in two separate days with two different vibes, and since the article was so small, the emotion that started with the first paragraph didn't last and didn't come back. I don't know if the article would really have beneficiated from being longer, but I think keeping the same tone and avoiding statistics and colder information would have been beneficial to it.

Therefore it will be a downvote, downvote that is also fueld by by overall dislike of short pages, although as I said it wasn't the main factor.

I really love the concept of this, and the message is quite cryptic and really interesting. A world without machines that juxtaposes the industrialization of these Gois, with a twist of mystery and horror. Short but very impactful. Great work!

This page took a surprising amount of effort, and I'm not sure if I executed it right. To many, this will look like a lazy attempt at a page, and I'm fine with that. I think this is a very risky thing to post, as the "depth" that I intended may just not come across well at all, but I think it would be worthwhile to at least see how it would fare. This page has been in the drafting phase for far longer than the current contest has existed, and is a level that's been in my head for around maybe a year now, but this contest really gave it the purpose it needed to flourish. I think it is evident how much I hate sheep. If this page fails, I will not be surprised, but I will be disappointed.

For all of my works on the Wikidot site, I had vowed that, if a piece were to ever receive a down-vote, I would delete it and rework the page from the ground up. This is the only exception to that self-imposed rule.
