That's actually not a bad idea, but the thing is that Level 0, at least to me, is the representation of nostalgia, mystery and the fear of the unknown. This however collides with several elements of the theme cause I don't know why, but various elements of nuliminal are still present here like the rating module, the footnotes (you forgot to showcase them in the page theme), the tabs, the circles around the upvotes and downvotes, the options buttons at the bottom of the page (which I don't care if they got slightly altered they still resemble and remind me of several SCP themes), I could go on. These elements are the polar opposite of what I mentioned earlier Level 0 represents to me: instead of nostalgia, mystery and such it shows "tidiness" or something along the lines of high-tech-ish? I don't really know how to explain it but it's cause of that that it collides with the Level 0 aesthetic.

Now ofc I'm not a tech expert or anything but for me honestly it's just a weird mix of the two that doesn't really work at all. I don't really like nuliminal anyway so this is at least a step in the right direction, just not executed properly in my opinion. I however think with a bit more polish this could become great, the fading bg seems like an interesting idea.
