I am the author of this article, M.E.O.D. is a group project conducted by Greggita Mahayfaio.

As far as I know, it exists for the purpose of converting documents from other organizations into the M.E.G. file format. It is also available on the backroom network.

You should ask Greggita Mahayfaiomore about the story behind the M.E.O.D. setup. I used it in the article simply because I thought it was a cool icon and would make more sense for other organizations to provide information, and I think M.E.O.D. would make people feel more like M.E.G. is not the only one exploring and documenting backrooms.
