The Mur tolerates wanderers. They have a prison to run.

Great Job

This is a really original idea, this level has it's own personality that really stands out from the rest of the levels and the entities are pure gold. This feels out of place with the backrooms and I love it

What does The Mur think about warnderers? (And when will the other species be discussed? I really am interested about them)

Glitches in No-clipping?

Thu, 05 Jan 2023 17:00:29 +0000

"Glitches in no-clipping have resulted in a disproportionate number being sent to a particular location on Level 234."

A friend and colleague wondered about my logic. After all, we do not really understand how no-clipping works, so how can there be a glitch?

I can explain. Knowing (or not knowing) the actual mechanisms of no-clipping is not necessary for this statement to be true. An examination of the lore of many levels indicates that there are times when no-clipping is rather consistent (enough to be documented as either an entrance or an exit). If a wanderer does a certain thing in a certain place on a level (Point A), then that wanderer will almost consistently no-clip to a specific place (Point B). The "glitches" occur when the wanderer no-clips to Level 234 (Point C) instead of the traditional destination.

WHY these mysterious "glitches" occur is explained in the article:

"#2) Malfunctioning teleportation targeting lenses are responsible for hijacking the large number of no-clips. Attempts are being made to isolate and disengage the damaged mechanisms."

Be the worthy,

THANK YOU for your kind words and the +1.

Please check out my author page [ http://backrooms-wiki.wikidot.com/goerman ] to see if there is something else that you might enjoy. Level 710 has been very popular.

Take care, my friend.

Spectre48,

THANK YOU! Everyone here has been so great!

I keep trying to introduce novel storylines to keep things fresh.

A penal colony with criminals from across the Multiverse just crashed into the Backrooms and became Level 234. Ha!

UserUnhacked,

THANK YOU for your (+1) kindness.

Turning 71 in a couple of months and I do what I can to help me remember things.

Don't forget that I wrote Level 365, Entity 365, and Object 365. Ha!

Reminds me of that one SCP in that cave with the prison cells that the chains shoot out of, even though these two are vastly different. I love wacky interdimensional prisons.

Definitely feel like I should bring Spec here in a tale… :3

Love the creature designs in the collapsible too! Especially the last one.

Hi Iamalemon,

THANK YOU for the kind vote of support!

This article is actually two-in-one.

The basic first glance is for public and rank-and-file dissemination.

The collapsibles tell a slightly different story… with a different classification level.

Yet another great one!

I definitely enjoyed this one, but certainly found myself a bit confused.

Appreciate the Level 422 exit by the way! I will add that onto the page shorty to correspond.

Keept it up!
