1: I'm positive that your entries must be original and it's only legal for your writing on them to start once the writing period also starts. So no, editing an existing object page is not allowed.
2: Yeah, tie-in and add-ons are fine as long as your entry is, in and of itself, 100% an object. (extreme format screws may be an exception to this, but I think your investigative report example would be more of an offset-type thing and would actually not be fine)

1. What if I want to rewrite or significantly edit an existing Object page of mine? Would that count as an Entry?

2. What if I want to write a page about an object that is already in existence? i.e. the focus of the contest entry is the object, but a page already exists for said object, and there is no intent for it to be rewritten. The entry would be meant to add context and lore to the existing Object page, and would not replace the Object page, but co-exist on the wiki as a separate page. Would this be counted as a valid contest entry?

E.g.:
Object X — original page
Object X: Investigative Report — a separate and distinct page that is submitted as a contest entry

In order to upload an article to the main site, you must use a code given to you by a staff member. This is a temporary code which is only allowed to be used for entries for this contest.
