its pretty obv that the concept was mostly for the contest, so like i get if it struggles to hold on its own. do i plan on expanding it? probablyyyy not. but hey i HAVE written other stuff with actual description and creepy vibes that have an interesting structure! soo consider that for sure! thanks for commenting anyway i love feedback

Anyways, the concept got a little chuckle out of me, and the article was nice and quaint. I liked the image, the poetry wasn't the best but it was nice. It's a nice article that gets in, does what it does, and gets out.

But really, the only reason this is a level is to get the 657 slot. And how does a shopping cart crush someone into bloody bits, is it made of tungsten or something?

On one hand, the poem is a quaint piece of writing I thoroughly enjoyed reading through. The symbolism here of a shopping cart and someone who is being used only when necessary is interesting, and totally something I've never toyed about with. The image is also lovely, and I'm mentioning this here because you told me you'd made it yourself. I feel like the aesthetic of the article (minus the theme, I don't understand the use for it) is on point as well, which helps the writing land. As some have stated, this is one of the best poems onsite.

I understand that this work is derivative of another work on this wiki, however, I feel like it doesn't elicit a 'what if' sentiment from me in a way that matters. Sure, you could say that the 'what if' here is… I dunno, "What if the cow was a shopping cart hee hee hoo", but in the end, I don't really get the sentiment of looking into another universe to find something different from the main timeline.

Don't get me wrong, this doesn't mean I dislike the piece. Quite the contrary. I just feel like putting it under whatifcon was a bit… unnecessary.

That is just me though, the article's rating speaks for itself in that this is a good article. For that, I'm going to novote it now, and upvote it after the contest has ended. That way, I can upvote a good work which is hindered only by the fact that it doesn't quite fit the contest's theme (as always, in my opinion. If I am, in some way, proven to be wrong here, I'll rescind my words and give this an upvote straight away)

The premise for this WhatIfCon submission is when humans no-clip into the backrooms and they fall through with something that represents them in a very significant way, they sort of. Merge with this object. That's it. I don't know how good of a concept this is, but hey, it's a concept, right?
