Heya gang, a couple of you might remember Entity 73— the black stuff that possesses you? It had a timer on the page that'd black it out after a few minutes.

Well, I've rewritten it completely. I was very unhappy with the writing, as it felt like a bunch of random metanarrative self-indulgent "my guy is so cool!" fanfic slop.

I've changed an innumerable amount of things with both lore and characterization, as well as page format in general. All in all, I'd say its a MUCH stronger page. If you liked the original, you'll LOVE the new version. If you didn't like the original, you'll definitely have a much more positive opinion of this one.

The photo is actually a photoshopped version of this image.

My original idea was to create a level with perfectly black walls, and then I had the idea to have walls at different temperatures to serve as a danger and the surfaces to be frictionless to make it impossible to walk.

I discovered there was already a level with perfectly black walls, Level 6.3, so my idea did not seem as original. I still thought the material had potential, so I thought to make it into object article instead.

I’m so excited to announce my collab contest entry with Natedagreat563 for SLcon2024, Level 800.1! As per usual with my page announcements, I’ll give y’all the first paragraph as a teaser!

“On September 17, 2015, M.E.G. a group of senior field investigators headed by Head Field Researcher Eden G. discovered a badly damaged cassette recording device inside the labyrinth of Level 800. Notable details on the device included apparent bite marks, cassette corruption, scratches, scrapes, dents, and shaved down buttons. Analysis of the device did not yield any notable details regarding the condition of the device or the owner.”
