Our Objectives
Because of the multitude of crises and the inevitable death of our civilization in the near future, we used to focus all our efforts on space exploration in the hope of finding a new planet for humanity to inhabit. But our plans have radically shifted away from space to the “Backrooms" since we learned that the World Cryptoscience Organization was conducting research about a new dimension.
Indeed, with the number of missing persons filed spiking in the state of Florida and the islands of the Caraïbe, it has been determined that the only logical explanation would be the Bermuda triangle, being the only area in the world where every attempt of exploration failed. It wasn't until the W.C.O. made the astonishing discovery of this impossible environment defying all known laws of physics, that we discovered what the Bermuda Triangle had been hiding from us all this time, finally explaining all the anomalous phenomena around this region in the same occasion.
Naturally, this discovery piqued the interest of every major government in the world. But as a member of the United Nations ourselves since June 2020, the Brimstone Conglomerate became the first private entity authorized by the W.C.O. to operate within the Backrooms. What's more, we were the first to develop fully functional solutions to exploit the many resources of this dimension, before all other corporations and global powers.
Today, we firmly believe that the Backrooms hold the key to ushering humanity into a new era.

Thank you for the explanation Mr. Brimstone. We're sure people wanted to know why you always avoid the cameras! Well, there's a lot we'd like to know as well. Starting with your status. You see, you could technically be the richest person in the world. Right now, your company, Brimstone Holding, is worth $110 trillion alone, which is almost equivalent to the total value of US assets. You could even be richer than all European Union countries combined and countries like China! But your total personal wealth is only $41 million. Why this decision?
"My father taught me that money equals power. But what's the point of money if you spend it on useless consumer goods? My view of wealth is different. Money shouldn't be spent on extravagant objects, but rather as a means of exercising power. As a matter of fact, $41 million is all I need to live my day-to-day life for the rest of my life. Every profit Brimstone Holding earns contributes directly to the growth of my businesses and those of my collaborators within the Conglomerate. I only invest in what I believe in, and to me, that's the best possible investment. I may sound selfish and harsh, but I sincerely believe that only our conglomerate can change the world today. Because making the world a better place requires not only ideas but also money. Otherwise, you can only dream, and as far as I'm concerned, I never dream, I act."
So you're really like your father after all! And about New Elysium? We heard you and the Conglomerate paid a large amount of money, and with a large amount, We're obviously talking in billions.
"Indeed, not only did the Conglomerate had to shell out a significant sum, but so did I. I'm a 64% shareholder, which means I virtually own this city- but I consider this an exception. This isn't a personal investment or a purchase to satisfy my own desires, but rather an investment in the future. New Elysium was built with the goal of maximizing corporate efficiency: no government, no regulation, just pure business. Today, just look at the results, six years after its creation."

"Well, we've tried to negotiate with them, even being extremely generous on the terms, but it seems they have no intention of doing business with us. And I find it highly… unprofessional to do things behind our backs, especially by sending their moles into our companies. They should be ashamed of themselves for using such petty tactics. I still don't know their true intentions, but I will personally make sure that we find out as soon as possible."

As the first ever non-state member to occupy a seat at the United Nations, the Brimstone Conglomerate is attempting to prove that they are not only an industrial and economic superpower, but also a military superpower! Can we really trust a private company the way we trust our democratic governments? What if the Conglomerate suddenly changes its vision and policies? Several national leaders are questioning themselves about this uncertainty after the Conglomerate's recent decisions in the Bermuda Triangle region.
However, one thing is certain: the United States of America is convinced of Brimstone's ability to make our world a better place. Indeed, president Donald Trump just spoke this morning and made a comment about the situation:

The Backrooms Colonists launches hostilities against the Brimstone Conglomerate.

It's been two months day for day since the war between the Brimstone Conglomerate and the Backrooms Colonists officially began after multiple guerrilla operations by the latter caused the destruction of several Brimstone infrastructures. Despite the Conglomerate's known neutrality, NATO and the United States insisted that they assist the Conglomerate in the war. Indeed, we just received information that the US president sent American soldiers to help defend the various Brimstone's installations.
According to a press release from US army general John MacArthur, the scale of this war is unprecedented. Spanning hundreds of different levels, this war resembles a game of hide-and-seek more than the conventional warfare we were used to, in the confined space of planet Earth.
For context, at the summit held by the World Cryptoscience Organization in October, it was reported that the Backrooms population was warning the Conglomerate about the dangers of massive exploitation- that it could threaten the structure and integrity of these lands. This led to a temporary suspension of the Conglomerate's operations in the Backrooms under the direct order of the International Court of Justice. However, it was ultimately determined that the consequences would not be so serious. With 68% of the vote in favor and the public's support, the Conglomerate was allowed to continue its activities within the Backrooms and its war with the Backrooms Colonists was justified and supported.
"After all, the world needs these resources more than anything else. Reality may be brutal, but all obstacles to progress must and will be removed. Sacrifices should be made to achieve world peace. It's either our world or theirs; now it's up to you to decide." adds Caesar Brimstone, president of the Conglomerate.

SUMMARY
Brimstone Inc. is the world's largest conglomerate which unites several megacorporations. The Conglomerate is an economic, industrial and also a military superpower, being the second world power just behind the USA. They even were granted a seat at the United Nation and the W.C.O. as the first ever non-state member.
Despite having a very good public image due to their humanitarian and active involvement in solving the world's problem in the "Frontrooms", they are the main threat when it comes to their actions involving the Backrooms and its populations, explained by their ignorance about the consequences from their exploitation operations, as they view the Backrooms as a disposable asset.
The population who decided to stay in the Backrooms tried to warn the Conglomerate about the dangers of this mass exploitation for the Backrooms' structural integrity but it only made the Conglomerate persecuting them and justify it for being "an obstacle to progress". The United Nations are aware of this but let this slide and rather support the Conglomerate because they desperately need these resources to "make the world a better place" and keeping the world peace, achieved thanks to the Backrooms' "unlimited" resources.
The Backrooms' remaining GOIs such as the Backrooms Colonists, the Backrooms Robotics and the Lost are the main opposition to the Conglomerate as well as all the corporate and governmental entities exploiting the Backrooms. Azure Corporation and Iscariot, on the Frontrooms side, also oppose the Conglomerate's methods due to their beliefs and wishes to bring down the Brimstone empire.
