TrailmixNCocoa here. Been a while, hasn't it?
Unfortunately, I do not have a brand new Masked Maidens for you, nor a new tale. However, I do have a favor to ask you all.
Back in 2020, I discovered the Backrooms Wikidot through Youtube and have fallen in love ever since. Despite having nightmares about Dollfaces, I kept coming back. It was one of the most important things I held onto as we were all hurling through the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Now, I haven't written for a while… but my love for the Backrooms remains the same. I wanted it to be part of my plans, as thanks for the support I got from the community. So, here I am!
What you will find below is a link to a survey titled, "Backrooms and Symbolic Interactionism Survey." This survey is for my Honors Principles of Sociology Class in community college. It serves to observe the different Backrooms communities and how their users have created a society (or societies) through the lens of symbolic interactionism.
It would mean the world to me if you took a few minutes to fill it out. Your thoughts and experiences are invaluable, and your participation will help shape the heart of this project.
Once the paper is complete, I’d love to share it with you all—consider it a love letter to the community that ignited my passion for writing and gave me a space to grow, explore, and connect.
