HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Can you believe the wiki has been around for five whole years? We are so excited to be celebrating our site’s fifth anniversary! It’s been an incredible five years and we would like to celebrate all of the progress we’ve made with this project over the past 5 years with 5 new events!
Over the next few weeks, we'll be having an event to celebrate! Some are secret, some are known, but if you participate in an event, you can get the coveted "Good TS Citizen" Discord role with the janky icon created by yours truly, BlueSignet.
A brand-new art contest
On our Discord, we have a banner image that was created way back when we split off from Fandom. It's a great banner, but as we've grown, our identity has split off from Fandom's. We've gone from having the M.E.G. being the default point of view to becoming a General Public Database where all sorts of groups contribute. We've gone from pure clinical tone to where format-breaking is the norm!
So now we want a banner that reflects the new us! If you're artistically inclined and want to contribute, check out the contest hub!
Kahoot Trivia Night
On April 4, we'll be hosting a trivia night on the Discord! How well do you know the community? How well do you know the wiki? Study up and crush your competition. The winner will get the Gamemaster role and bragging rights. Join the Discord to participate.
A Writing Blitz
From April 11 to April 24, there will be a writing blitz! You will have two weeks to write a page that is no longer than 1000 words. See if you can write like BlueSignet and create a narrative with such limited space! Prove that we've improved since 2020! Make

A Lost & Found collaborative page
DivineAtlas created an idea that all members of the wiki can contribute to!
What happens when you lose your left shoe running from a Smiler and want it back? What if you find someone's Worn Sack and want to return it? What are people looking for in the Backrooms? The Lost and Found board is where the M.E.G. connects people with what they lost! But it's up to you to populate the board with lost and found things! Staff will respond back and we'll see what we create together!

As your head admin, it's been a pleasure serving you for 2 years. Through the highs and lows, the good and bad, the constant Wikidot fails, being in this community has given me experiences and friends I won't forget. It is my hope that we continue to make this place better than it was yesterday, and that this place continues to be where all people can share their love of the Backrooms.
