About

The Kalag Institute is an institute that archives and records information every human death in the Backrooms. Information on the life, cause and location of death of a person is found in the Institute's guarded archives. The Institute was founded on maintaining the life and death cycle with the Backrooms branch being newly implemented.

Currently, a public archives has been opened for outside individuals or groups to access information within the institute's archives. Inquiries on information not available in the public archives can be taken to the current senior archivist.

Current Members

Senior Archivist Gani

Current Senior Archivist of the Kalag Institute's Backrooms archives. They handle the daily operations of the archives and manage the team of archivists managing the archives. Inquiries on file access must be sent to them. They can be found in their office or in random levels of the Backrooms during hands-on investigations.

Juanita S.

An archivist of the institute, she is responsible for maintaining and organizing recorded material with the archive's organization system. She can be inquired about the usage of material from the archives. Juanita handles communications during explorations done by Institute members. She can be found in the archives or during hands-on investigations.

Tala U.

An archival assistant who is responsible for assisting archivists on organizing and maintenance of records. She also helps maintain and repair equipment used in archival and recording processes alongside Juanita. Tala currently handles hands-on investigations and explorations.

Daga

A member of The Lost that assists the archivists and members of the institute in exploration and hands-on investigation. Not a member of the institute but treated as one. Can be found in the Senior Archivist's office and with other archivists in random levels.

Binayaan

An electronics technician for the Kalag Institute tasked with maintaining and improving devices used in the recording and archival process of records and materials. She can be found in the archives and does not handle any hands-on investigations

Lailah A.

An archivist of the institute responsible for the maintenance of data within the archives through tabulation and summarization. They temporarily handle the security of the archives alongside Binayaan. They handle communications between members of the Institute and outside groups and or individuals. They can be found in the archives and will occasionally handle any hands-on investigations.
