Heya everyone! I'm Stretchsterz, and welcome to my little place I call home! I've been around since the olden days, the beginning of The Backrooms Wikidot! In-Fact, I Co-Created this very Wiki and Community you are viewing right now!

Yeah, it's kind of crazy where I ended up now in a Community that I basically created. It has been quite the wild ride, but I am here to write stories for the foreseeable future! Now currently, I am an Ex Admin within the community, and frequent Author!

My best creations are probably some of the early levels like Level 5, Level 6.1, Level 11… I even made The M.E.G.! (Not like I say that in the Discord Server every 25½ seconds) So that's pretty neat! Also some more recent ones like Level -2, The Hub Rewrite, and The Serpent's Void!

"I know this sounds strange since everything in The Backrooms is random, but Level -2 is just… too random."

Level -2 is an Enigmatic Level of the Backrooms and the 3rd Level in the special group of Enigmatics known as Negative Levels. This Level consists of four different sub-areas, but we suspect that it may go deeper.

Enigmatic Level - "Level -1"

Level -1 is a presumably infinite hallway that has doors on either side. The Level consists of white-painted walls and numerous black doors. Each door leads to either Level -2, Level 0, The Whiteout or Level 2.

The wanderers that made it this far have always turned back at this point, and when they do, they end up talking about an unknown Entity that they simply call 'Nutrisha'. Further expeditions will be started to explore Level -1. This Level will, for now, have a designated difficulty level of Class 2 until further notice.

Level 5. - "Terror Hotel"

Level 5 is an infinite hotel complex, with many rooms and halls. The Level itself seems to have been constructed in the 1930s, with furniture dating back to 1920. There are three (3) main areas in Level 5 that are fully accessible.

The surroundings of Level 5 are littered with decorations and furniture from the early 20th century, The Main Hall being the most object-populated area of Level 5. The Level is mostly clean with little dust and dirt lingering on surfaces. It seems to clean itself, as unclean spots seem to disappear only a few minutes after. The oddly pristine floors and well-cared areas make Level 5 utterly unsettling, compared to other Levels close by.

Level 6.1 - "The Snackrooms"

Level 6.1 resembles an infinite1 mall cafeteria, with a labyrinth of many snack bars and restaurants spread across the Level. These bars can vary in age and appearance, from modern day snack joints to bars recorded to be from as early as the 1600's.

Entrances to these bars can be found within halls that resemble a mall set in the 1980's with many cafeteria tables and chairs in a navy blue color. However, the exits of these restaurants can possibly lead to another restaurant, even if you have entered the restaurant from the halls in that direction. This effect makes the layout of Level 6.1 fairly confusing.

Level 8 - "Cave System"

Level 8 is made of huge caverns and small cave systems that twist and turn like normal underground systems. Level 8 is very damp, with Almond Water flowing from the walls and ceiling. Stalactites and stalagmites appear to be very common in Level 8.

Sounds echo throughout the Level, so it is relatively easy to listen for potential danger, or possibly even attract it if not careful. Level 8 is normally devoid of natural light, but light sources from an unknown origin shine on the damp walls, making the Level slightly glow in select areas. Vegetation albeit extremely rare does exist on Level 8 in the form of dried vines and small shrubs.

Level 9 - "The Suburbs"

Level 9 is an infinite suburban area at midnight. This Level has the same darkness similar to that of Level 6, but not as dangerous. The houses vary in design and size, and each is completely different. Although there are reports of spotting two houses near each other that are exactly the same.

The houses of Level 9 appear to be furnished and fairly new, although there is no power source for the lighting systems to function. Some houses have a chance of being completely empty. Many useful objects can be found inside of these houses and areas similar to them.

Level .10 - "Field of Wheat"

Level 10 is a wheat field that seems to be infinite in size. A large unpaved dirt path heading north and south is also present. The wheat in the fields is safe for use and consumption. Pockets of Almond Water can be found all around the wheat fields, which has a sweet taste.

The time of day in Level 10 is always around noon. The sky is very cloudy, and rain may occur rarely. When walking down the path you will not only find wheat fields but strange objects and buildings in the distance. The first buildings you can encounter are barns and stables.

Level 11 - "The Infinite City"

Level 11 is a presumably infinite city, populated with buildings, stores, and skyscrapers. This Level includes buildings that can be found in a typical city in The Frontrooms. The interiors of these buildings are randomized in structure and furniture; some buildings are empty, whilst others are fully furnished.

Certain buildings are accessible, whilst others are not. The interiors of the buildings are strange and anomalous, as one can find stairways leading to nowhere, doors located on the sides of buildings, etc. The shops, while mainly derelict, occasionally contain useful items. Gravity does not seem to affect these buildings.

Level 12 - "Matrix"

Level 12 appears to possess a simple effect not shared by any known Level, in that it censors itself. Any attempts to record or photograph Level 12 will result in either a simple white image or a mass of noise and TV static.

When uploaded to another device, footage of Level 12 will convert into a standard SMPTE testing screen, lacking any color. It is unknown why or how this change occurs. Any information included with footage or image data, such as a filename, is also censored.

Level 36.1 - "The Plane"

THIS LEVEL IS OUTDATED!
Level 36.1 seems to be a Sub-Level between Level 36 and Level 37 that was discovered by an Unknown User. It appears to be an infinite Passenger Plane from around 1950s to 80s.

The rooms consist of long hallways that look like the insides of a passenger plane. The windows in this Level show that you're above the clouds with a bright blue sky, wings can be visible in some areas. The hallways have seats all around, and after walking for around 40 minutes, there will be junctions in the hallways that are physically impossible.

Level 40 - "Roller Rockin' Pizza!"

Level 40 resembles a mid-to-late 1980s arcade with the various games and media you would expect in that time period. From the many signs placed around Level 40, it seems to be called "Roller Rockin' Pizza!".

The Level itself holds some intricate designs and patterns on the numerous surfaces such as a dark blue neon carpet flooring and concrete walls, both of which are covered in graphics of planets and stars, which resembles a flow with a few spaceships and spacemen.

Level 43 - "WaterWorld"

Level 43 is the 44th Level of The Backrooms. This Level seems to be an infinite aquarium theme park. Level 43 is made out of four (4) main areas inside the park. These areas are hard to find but these areas seem to build up to the final area. This Level seems to keep certain anomalies such as huge patches of fog manifesting in the Level, and you my rarely hear boat noises.

The park itself is very empty and quiet besides the rare occasion of boat noises. No life can be seen, and has an lingering ominous effect. This Level seems to be abandoned by the amount of trash everywhere. Some of the rides and attractions are broken and dysfunctional.

Level 5.1 - "Caverns Of Olympus"

Level 51 is the 52nd Level of the Backrooms. Level 51 is a infinite marble maze of Greek origin. No pictures have been taken as cameras do not work here. The Maze's floor is lined with gold, while the walls are marble, with a Greek zig-zag pattern on them.

While in the Maze you can find pottery, baskets, and candles lying around in the corners, and wine leaves and branches are covering the golden floors. There are also holes on the ceiling that can come in various shapes and sizes, and if climbed into, you will be taken to Level 10. Some holes will have black ooze dripping from them; that will also take you to Level 20.

Level 54 - "Stairwell of Spirals"

THIS LEVEL IS OUTDATED!
Level 54 is a stairwell that flows down in a spiral pattern. The staircase itself is many levels deep and is assumed to be infinite. The walls of this Level are a light blue in color, old and peeling. Mold covers some parts of the walls and the temperatures of the Level make the area very damp.

Water drips from the cracks of the walls and ceiling which seems to increase the dampness of the Level. The air of this Level has a scent of rotting wood and a lot of dust, and thick layers of dust also seem to coat the floors. The steps are wooden and rotten and have creaky metallic foundations holding the structure up in place.

Level 61 - "The Train"

Level 61 is the 62nd Level of The Backrooms. It is an infinite train that appears to be from the mid 2000's. Level 61 is infinite, so crossing between cars on the train is not recommended, as you can get lost. The train cars can have multiple junctions in them, which is not possible in reality.

They have windows, too, with scenery on the outside. Going outside while the train is stationary will lead you to Level 11. Once you look away from one, they can disappear, as it is completely randomly generated, so you should never leave the starting car.

Level 64 - "Lurking Darkness"

Level 64 is an infinite house area with many rooms, halls and stairways. The Level itself is littered with house decor, more than what you would find in an average everyday household. The darkness in Level 64 absorbs light and light sources are dysfunctional. A working method is being constructed by The M.E.G. at this moment.

The structure of the house seems to change when no sentient beings are looking, which can cause the Wanderer to feel anxiety and/or paranoia. Level 64 can also cause Wanderers to receive symptoms similar to nyctophobia for the amount of time that one can spend in the darkness.

Level 66 - "Swampy Waters"

THIS LEVEL IS OUTDATED!
Level 66 appears as a swamp, similar to the Florida Everglades. This Level has a large amount of entities, with special Death Rats that swim in the swamp water. It is hard to navigate this Level, as there are no pathways. Isolation is common, but drinking enough Almond Water can help. The swamp water seems to be especially disorienting, so it is possible to enter the Wretched Cycle.

It is not recommended to drink it. The Entities in this Level are Death Rats, Wretches, Skin-Stealers, Camo Crawlers and Deathmoths. There are also Alligator Entities, which remain unnamed. These entities will act like a normal alligators, with the exception of being faster, stronger, and having spikes on their backs; this makes them very dangerous. Fortunately, the Entities get distracted by the Death Rats, but it's advised to avoid the alligators at all cost regardless.

Level 81 - "Zoological Office"

Level 81 consists of many different office-like buildings, similar to those found in The Frontrooms. The interiors of these buildings vary, but some common themes have been noted. The walls of Level 81 can vary in material from brick, to concrete, to wallpaper, and can appear in several colors such as light blue, dark green, and yellow. These walls may also vary in texture and design.

When first entering Level 81, the Level will be unnaturally quiet. After wandering for a few hours, various animal noises may be heard, and it is possible to encounter animals by following such noises. Many animals from The Frontrooms can be encountered.

Level 92 - "Crimson Glow"

Level 92 appears to be an Infinite hall and Stairway, the Halls and stairs have this Glowing effect on it, the color of the Level is mostly a Crimson Red. this Level is completely devoid of entities, besides the Halls.

Wanderers that explore this Level, with more than one person, seemingly become alone in the Level, but all Wanderer groups that come out say they were at the same level. Once you are in the Level, you will be at the Stairway.

Level 94 - "Motion"

THIS LEVEL IS OUTDATED!
Level 94 appears to be a large town, a floating castle and grass hills, but everything, has a grainy effect, as if this place was crafted. The main town is safe, with no Entities during the day. This Town has a big water fountain in the center, flowing with Almond Water.

This town seems to be in the 1930's, in a stop-motion type feel. This town has tiny houses, with some furniture, mostly in 1930's to 1950's. The town also have 1930's styled cars, and milk vans, filled with Almond Milk. the town also have siren poles, which time to time, play happy cartoony music.

Level 356 - "Twisted Halls"


THIS LEVEL IS OUTDATED!
Level 356 is a level that is thousands of different hallways, that seem to randomly change appearance. It is possible that there is more hallway variants, but only four have been discovered. No Entities have been seen, but there are rare reports of Smilers.

Enigmatic Level - "The Hub"

The Hub is an Enigmatic Level of The Backrooms, and is a safe place for any Wanderer looking to pass by and/or live in. The Hub seems to be a Tunnel, with both locked and unlocked doors on either side.

The Hub is a lot larger than we originally had thought. It seems to split into multiple intersections with more tunnel passageways to explore. It is now a series of tunnels rather than a singular tunnel. It is currently unknown if it was always like this or if the Level had changed itself.

Enigmatic Level - "The Serpent's Void"

Over the past months, we at the Repository have been hearing rumors of people having dreams relating to a possible enigmatic level of the Backrooms. After collecting this data, the Master Administrator has deemed the entries to be genuine. If so, we at the Repository feel the need to share these notes with the public. The following information was gathered over a 6 month period from various sources.

Enigmatic Level - "Level α"

THIS LEVEL IS OUTDATED!
Level α is an Infinite Modern Beach House. The Hallways are painted white, with the doors leading to more rooms, the floors are a dark oak wood, and the carpet is made of cotton, with a black Greek "Zig-Zag" Pattern on it. The lighting system and switches seem to work, and will light up those rooms and hallways while inside.

There are kitchen rooms, with very little food, and all drinks are "Boiled Almond Water", Regardless of brand. There will be a few Closets in the halls, with very few stacks of neatly folded clothing. The Bedrooms have beds, a few desks with various items inside, and there is a "Glass Door", that seems to lead to a beach, but it is locked.

Enigmatic Level - "The Electroscape"

THIS LEVEL IS OUTDATED!
The Electroscape is an enigmatic Level of The Backrooms. This Level mostly resembles an infinite empty Office building. What is seemingly strange about it, is that the ceiling has holes, with Cables and Wires hanging from every one. This Level has the strongest Wi-Fi in the Backrooms so far, but it is not recommended to go here.

These Cables are at first not dangerous, there are some rooms flooded with Almond Water, which is electrified by the wires. This area is extremely dangerous, it is not recommended, unless using the proper protection.

Enigmatic Level - "The Must Yard"

THIS LEVEL IS OUTDATED!
The Must Yard is an Enigmatic Level in The Backrooms, and is extremely hard to enter. This Level resembles an infinite scrap yard full of old cars, rusted metal and other devices. This Level is flooded with Almond Water, oil and plastic, and is around Usually twenty-two (22) feet deep, sometimes very shallow — around two (2) feet. to undocumented depths.

Many old devices are scattered all around the area. Some are useful tools, useless objects, and even broken vehicles. Many of these vehicles include rusted train cars, sometimes stacked on top of each other, normal cars ranging from around the 1960's to 2000's.

Joke Level - "Level 420"

So like… this thing is cool man… I basically came here like… Through the wall… When me and the bois were having some of dat shit, man I was out of it… I think… So, I saw these pipes, and… uhhh, I think I'm talking about like… That other thing, with the pipes and stuff… So, the walls were like… Yellow or some shit … and had this tripy pattern on it… it was really… tripy… i stared at it for like… A minute… Damn…

This Level is a joke, and is not meant to be taken seriously.

Joke Level - "Level Fridge"

Level Fridge is an infinite series of halls lined with Refrigerators.

Level Fridge is not dangerous at first, but the Level's Entity has some hostile effects. This Level is filled with different types of refrigerators, some of which have power. The refrigerators that are powered have meals inside of them. These meals will be hot if eaten hot, even though the refrigerator itself has cold air.

This Level is a joke, and is not meant to be taken seriously.

Room - "Trader's Vault"

THIS ROOM IS OUTDATED!
Traders Vault is a long hallway of storage rooms with garage doors on each room. Each room was filled with random objects and items, before the B.N.T.G. took it over for storing supplies. This Room is now known as 'Traders Vault' created by the B.N.T.G. for storing supplies to give to the Wanderers of The Backrooms in need.

Room- "The Surveillance Room"

THIS ROOM IS OUTDATED!
The Surveillance Room can be found on Level 4. The door to the room has a sign saying no cameras allowed inside. If a picture is taken it will not load. This room holds a computer system, and monitors from the late 20th century. The computer system can be used, but it is very limited, with only a few files. The monitors however shows a certain amount of Levels from cameras on walls, ceilings, even from Aiden's point of view. The Screens change once and awhile to different Levels.

Room - "The Chair Room"

THIS ROOM IS OUTDATED!
The Chair Room has the appearance of a conference room. In this room, there are a few hallways, with small offices in small rooms. The main conference room has rows of chairs, the amount, and the type are random, including the effects. Every few hours, the chairs in the room change to a different type of chair, either it being Wooden, Soft, Plastic, and others. Once the type is chosen, all chairs in the room become the same as the rest.

Entity 3 - "Smilers"

Smilers are generally hostile, and there have been many confirmed sightings of them. They can be identified by their signature reflective eyes and teeth gleaming in the dark. If you ask about his name, he replies with 'Aiden'. He is very intelligent, knowing many Levels, and his surroundings. he is very protective and knows when Entities are nearby, and the safest ways around them. He will try to protect a Wanderer at any cost. You will find him in most of the lower Levels, and in The Surveillance Room.

Wranglers are snake-like Entities that use their bodies to distract and confuse their prey in an almost hypnotic-like state. Reports show that wranglers have been spotted in Level 9. These Entities are dangerous, and it is advised to stay away from them at all costs.

The B.N.T.G. (Backrooms Nonaligned Trade Group) is a Group once created by The M.E.G. until it grew independent. The Group itself is made up of various mercenaries and assassins which all have a diverse selection of resources to trade to just about anyone. The Group is lead by a persona known as "The Keeper". No one knows for sure who this person is or if they even exist at all, but there is enough evidence from the likes if initials on messages to show that someone is pulling the strings. Their main base is known as "Trader's Keep", where they have set up apartment-like rooms in Level 1 for people to stay and be protected by their skilled members. The items are they collect are stored in "Trader's Vault", a large anomalous hallway of garage doors that have many various items sorted inside. The B.N.T.G. holds many secrets beyond the keep and it is suggested to keep quiet if you ever join the Group. What goes in never tends to come back out

Dr. Shields is a skilled operative and researcher previously employed with the M.E.G. It is believed that he went AWOL sometime in late 1998 over an altercation with M.E.G. leadership, rumors saying it had to do with funding for a private project. After fleeing Base Alpha with a handful of other operatives, he was presumed dead for the next two years, until an unidentified Penumbra arrived at Base Gamma claiming to serve as a representative of Dr. Shields, delivering unto the M.E.G. a package containing an assortment of notes and letters, all of which detailing information about a select few species of Entities he had labelled "Humanoids". Since then Dr. Shields has proclaimed himself a freelance anthropologist dedicated to doing these "Humanoid races" justice, and ending what he describes as "the brutality of humanity."
