Subject: On the Amor Incrementum attacks on Base Omega in Level 4

Interviewee: Ophelia Turner Robinson
E. Makaraig: State your name and occupation in the M.E.G. For… standard personnel interviewing.
O.T. Robinson: Right. I'm Ophelia Turner Robinson, former head researcher for the Amor Incrementum - M.E.G. operation team and current team captain of the Science Fiction Team.
E. Makaraig: Well, you probably have much to say, so let's get on it, shall we? Where would you want this to start, Mrs. Robinson?
O.T. Robinson: This operation is quite… intense if I say so myself. I half-expected that the extent of my reach for this operation would be limited to research on the plant life of Level 499, but due to multiple incidents involving Base Omega, there was no choice but to turn the secret operation to, well… something more public.
E.Makaraig: Right. So, that was why you're handling the exploration of Level 499 with Mx. Rizal?
O.T. Robinson: Part of it, but I also figured it wouldn't be safe to just leave our documents and research alone in Base Omega, not without at least most of the team keeping an eye on it. At this point, there was a delay with assistance with the other M.E.G. teams.
E.Makaraig: Yeah, some Life Line staff got temporarily transferred here. Alright, how did you come in contact with Mx. Rizal? Assuming the difficult process of Amor Incrementum members contacting other groups, I'd imagine it was difficult.
O.T. Robinson: It was. I know Rizal was much more than capable with participating in the research no matter how far she is from my team but with Laura Hyde, who was keeping track of his every move, it was difficult.
E.Makaraig: Watching his every move? How come?
O.T. Robinson: To be honest… I don't know the extent of control Hyde had over Rizal's actions but it was apparent to me that there was tension. I know her motivations, which you soon will probably know if you talk to Maya, but between him and Hyde, I know nothing.
E.Makaraig: I'll note to bring this up with her. Anyway, continue…
O.T. Robinson: Right. Rizal was able to inconspicuously send samples to the makeshift lab in Base Omega by sending it along with trade and barter between Amor Incrementum and the M.E.G. Some were taped inside the almond water containers delivered by the group. Of course, this caused some damage, which I have noted in the archived e-mail logs for the Amor Incrementum related notes in the Level 499 file.
E.Makaraig: On the attacks, I know your team also handled the investigation on that too? If I remember correctly, Base Omega is heavily guarded… do you have a set theory based on what your team found?
O.T. Robinson: Nothing much other than what was said in the Incident Omega-3-2022 file. Seeing that hostile entities— well, even sentient entities, can't easily enter Base Omega, with notable exceptions, it was most likely that a person let in by the M.E.G. personnel would be responsible. You have an alibi so I didn't bother. I decided to check with the GOI representatives to see when they came in and who was with them.
E.Makaraig: Did you find anything significant in your results?
O.T. Robinson: Well I know that a number of B.N.T.G. representatives were in Base Omega for a meeting but they came and left before the time of the attacks. Then I remembered that Rizal delivered the last of the samples to the base and I didn't want to go make hasty theories. That's… also a reason why I'm leaving tomorrow.
E.Makaraig: To confirm your own theory?
O.T. Robinson: Correct. I have everything set up incase my theory has been proven right or wrong.
E.Makaraig: You're scheduled to leave Base Omega tommorrow… I also want to ask why you asked me to interview you now instead of using standard procedure of doing the interview much later.
O.T. Robinson: You of all people know about how dangerous and unpredictable the Backrooms can be, especially with the entity possibly residing in Level 499. I… I felt like it was necessary for this interview to happen. If things go terribly wrong, I can trust you to handle the files.
E.Makaraig: Right… that makes some sense. I wish you luck Robinson, hopefully we can do that standard interview if you come back.
O.T. Robinson: "If" [She laughs.], you're a good kid Elijah. I trust that you can explain everything to Harper right?
E.Makaraig: Of course.

ADDENDUM 3/28/2022: Mrs. Robinson is currently being held in Base Omega and being supervised by Team "Mossy Medics". She, along with Rizal and the surviving members of Amor Incrementum, are still recovering and are not fit for any sort of interview. Robinson and Rizal's journal entries will be transcribed until an interview can be conducted.
