Hello, dear reader. It is a pleasure to see you again. As much as I’d love to stay and talk, I’m afraid time is of the essence for me. You see, dear, I've found myself entangled in a strange occurrence. I felt a presence in the Cygnus Archive, one that entered without clipping or through my books…. It was quite sudden, merely a split second had passed when the presence vanished without a trace. A shame, really, that I couldn't delve into their thoughts. I didn’t pay much attention to it at the time, I was quite busy serving tea to my newest guest. Once they left, I began dusting off some shelves… and then I found a note. One not written by my hand. It reads as follows:

January 2nd 3042:

Dear Blanche. I am sorry. I really am. I had brought all of that stress and harm upon you and your Exarchs. I just didn't know. I truly didn't. I thought what I was doing was right.

I was wrong.

They were wrong.

I don't understand if I was truly the one to reign destruction upon your library. Whatever you'll soon think of me, I at least want you to know that I am sorry. I honestly don't know how many times I have to say it. I just feel horrible from the upcoming events… and I don't know if it's my fault or not.

Let me tell you what is coming.

What will rise and fall.

Many Groups are coming your way. Dangerous ones. It will be scary but you will hold your ground. I for one, had brought a horrible presence upon your library. They are from the far future. And they are strong. Fierce warriors that will stop at nothing for their perfect future. Even at the costs of ruining others. We are known as The Future Imperfect. We thought it was the only way… that the people deserved to be down here. I thought it was the only way.

You will create a great language. A great understanding of knowledge simply from the touch of your fingertips. A speak without words. A great collection of magic far beyond the understanding of most. Your creation will reshape reality beyond what human potential could do. It seemed impossible, but you did it. It was astonishing.

I can't believe what I had done to bring down such astonishing levels of creation.

I'm sorry.

But there are things you must do to stop this.

You must listen to the Dream Men and accept their cries of sorrow. Show the other Factions your potential and show them that there is nothing to be afraid of in the beauty of magic. You must lead your Order with passion and without fear. I will be there with you. Confused… but you must show me the amazing wonders of the unknown. There I will understand.

There I will stand with you. Together.

Near the end you told me that you wanted to understand what it's like to feel human. How to convey the feelings that we hold. How to share those feelings with us. How to feel with us.

You did it. And I am proud of you.

But… I don't know if you would say the same for me. From what I had done to you and your dreams. I am sorry.

But it isn't too late to try again.

You are one the greatest friends I have ever had. And I hope I can do something to fix the many errors that I have done.

Thank you.

For everything.

And also, happy birthday. I never forgot.

Sincerely, Milly Lestry.

January 2, 3042… According to the human calendar, that is… One thousand and twenty-two years into the future? How can this be? Milly Lestry… Whoever you are, you seem to be aware of my little language project… Well, it has been quite some time since I made use of my studies in chronomancy, but I can still identify signs of time distortions when I see them… The Future Imperfect. I see. Seems this little project of mine is far more important than what I had expected… and seems my time is shorter than what I had imagined. I must hasten my research. And if time distortion is involved… I must prepare myself to defend the Cygnus Archive once again. Farewell, dear reader. And thank you for your time.
