Welcome to the Backrooms Wiki's latest contest, going along with our recent push to support the artists on the site!

Have you ever noticed when looking at our beloved international sites such as the Backrooms Wiki CN and the Indonesian Backrooms Wiki that these sites and others all have a mascot character to represent the site in contest banners, fan art, emoji and stickers? You might wonder why the Backrooms Wiki — the English site, sometimes named after our Discord server "Backrooms Tech Support" — doesn't really have one of these.

Well, we're wondering too. So let's make one!

The contest theme is to create a piece of artwork that shows the character design for a Backrooms Wiki mascot!

Contest rules

• The dates can be found in the flowchart below.
• The mascot can either be something already on the site (if the original author gives permission for it), or something you came up with.
• You may participate with an art that began development prior to the official announcement of the contest.
• The mascot can be anything. It doesn't have to be a humanoid that resembles the existing international mascots, though it can be.
• To participate, post your art in the art category on the wiki, and use the tag mascotartcon2024 under it. Remember to also set the parent page of your submission to this hub.
• You may only submit one art page (and therefore one mascot).
• Any attempts to give yourself an unfair advantage will result in disqualification. What counts as this will be decided by staff on a case-by-case basis. If you aren't sure if something counts as this, please ask staff.
• A vote will be held via Google Forms during the voting period to decide the winner, so ratings don't count here.
• Like with writing contests, the winner will get the contest winner role.
