Remember that post about a place called the "Backrooms”? I think I’m there, just somewhere completely different from those yellow hallways. It’s a parking garage that loops endlessly and I’m struggling to be hopeful that I'll ever leave.
>First impressions of this place
Picture a generic parking garage on a quiet day and that’s basically this place. The biggest difference between here and what you’re picturing is that there are no doors or windows leading out. Trust me, I’ve been looking for hours now. I’m not sure if this pace is too big for me to meet other people or if there is genuinely no one else here but I have yet to find others (other humans at least). There are some cars around but they’ve all been mostly empty so far, save for some food and these water bottles with some sort of flavoured water in them (it’s not a flavouring I’ve tasted in water before).
The smell of petrol is sickening from the start. I’m typing all this from inside one of the cars cause I felt like throwing up just walking around out there. The air is so heavy too, like this place is really humid. There is no noise in this parking lot at all. It gets so quiet, I can hear my heart beating at times.
>I found a creature
There was this fucked up creature dead on the floor. It looked like a wolf forced into the skin of a human. Its fur (hair?) was matted and gross, and its eyes were bulging. Even worse, something had clearly been eating it not long before I’d gotten there. There was a trail of bloody footprints leading away that at first looked like bare human feet. That thing was definitely not human. The feet were the wrong way round and the trail stopped suddenly in a growing pool of blood, like it had flown away or something. Whatever it was, I didn’t want to see it and I knew I had to leave before it found me.
>A base?
I found some cars positioned unusually. All the other cars have been inside parking spaces but these appeared to have been pushed together, seemingly to make a small fort. Some doors had been torn off to make a roof but it had caved in some time ago. There was rotting food and mouldy blankets, signs of an abrupt end to lives. My guess is that this fort has been used by multiple people at different times based on the ages of the things around. I tried to salvage some stuff but I didn’t want to touch any of the blood. Yeah, I know, I’m being a coward but there was no way I trusted that. Plus some parts of the car had melted away, kinda like something had thrown acid onto it. I don’t know how long acid lasts and I did not want to find out.
>My journey here
I was somewhere completely different before this parking garage. Think prison turned into an electric station but seriously unsettling. This garage was just behind one of the gates when I opened it even though I couldn't see it through the bars when it was closed. It was so weird but honestly everything here is.
Earlier I saw an entrance to a tube slide. The outside was a bright orange but it was pitch black inside. Obviously, I noped the fuck away from that. Going down that slide would probably have taken me to some place worse than here.
