Picture illustrating level 220. This picture was taken in the section of the level known as ˝The town˝
Level 220 is the 221st level of the Backrooms.
Description:
This level appears to be an abandoned french town of unknown size, where it is always daytime, always cloudy, and there's no rain.
Attempting to damage any of the buildings in this level will yield no results, as buildings are capable of instantly rebuilding themselves.
The level features a lot of signs, the contents of which do not translate into any known language.
Temperatures stay at a constant 4 degrees Celsius (39 degrees Fahrenheit).
This level should be avoided due to its high entity count. Entering this level is signing your own death sentence.
Entities
This level is packed with entities lurking around every corner. The most common entities in this level are Facelings. Other entities, such as Smilers, Hound, Skin Stealer and Clumps can be found, all of them hostile.
Bases, Outposts and Communities:
There are no known Communities or Outposts on this level.
Additional Information
The town
The town is the first section of the Level wanderers encounter. It has very few entities and it's the Level's safest area. The town has no useful items, and the only danger you can encounter are Clumps in houses and a few entities. Apart from that, the town is mostly safe.
Some types of buildings have been documented, such as:
Normal houses
Regular houses are empty, but they can have Clumps if there is a ceiling, which is very rare, given the terrible condition of the buildings.
Apartament buildings
Apartment rooms are completely empty. These buildings are very unstable as they can collapse and potentially kill you instantly. After collapse, they will partially repair themselves, retaining their unstable nature.
Shops
Shops within the level are in terrible condition: They are empty and have only Cashew Water. Smilers can be found within the shops. The inside of a shop usually resembles a little room with a dark spot at the very end. At the corners of stores, you can find items resembling french newspapers of the 1940's.
The forest
The forest is located outside of the town. It can be accessed by travelling 5 miles in a straight line in any direction. The forest is densely populated with entities and rushing unprepared into the woods is a guaranteed death. The forest consists of dark trees and is permanently covered in a strange fog. Upon entry on the forest, the sky will change immediately: Instead of mildly cloudy it will change to a thick fog blanket, which makes it very hard to see.
Some wanderers have reported that the forest has a strange effect on their minds: When they looked up to the sky, they felt extreme joy and nostalgia. This effect has proven deadly, since it attracts entities, usually sealing your fate on the spot.
Entrances And Exits:
Entrances
Level 220 can be accessed by finding a door in Level 57 that has a sign above it that reads ˝Amicale Ville˝ which means Friendly town in French.
Exits
The only known way to leave this level is to find a red wall in one of the buildings. No-clipping trough the wall leads to Level 1.
