first off, i like the tegan fruit plot point. a resource that grants vitamins and immunity in exchange for turning your skin into plastic is an interesting commodity within a dangerous place like the backrooms! however, the sections leading up to that point drag considerably. i'm not sure how many descriptions of these different zones were really necessary, as most of them were generic commercial environments that don't serve to further the plot.
Within the pools are collections of dry, red leaves, their origin unknown as the level seemingly has no exterior.
Within the till there normally are a variety of coins and notes, all originating from different parts of the Frontrooms.
details like these are what make clinical descriptions so fun to read! i just wish we'd gotten more of these instead of specific materials and measurements for each surface present in the room. as of now, i feel like the article took up way too much time to communicate its content.
