All great stuff! Can't wait to see what comes out next round!
I'm not downvoting cause of the art itself, but for the absolute failure that this overall thing has ended up becoming. It's a nice idea in paper, but staff should have taken into account whether or not they could have kept up updating it. As I feel it this comes off as an attempt to make the site more interesting / polished, only for it to just be a lame bait in the end. So far staff explanations on the matter just sound like excuses at this point, there's no way any kind of issues that may have arisen on the first one-two months haven't had a chance to be resolved yet, 6 months later.
I'm very disappointed. Though I'm open to switch back to a novote if this is actually picked up again, I don't think I can ever upvote this at all. I just wish our site was a bit more professional, Backrooms deserve it.
My main problem with this is that it's not exactly easy to do digital art to everyone, and not everyone wants to take the time to take a picture of a drawing they drew (or even take the time to draw one) and then upload it. Plus, there really isn't much to creatively draw about that hasn't been drawn before. It also kind of feels a copy of the SCP wiki's art display, and no one really pays attention to it. Honestly, this could show more originality, and the staff could find different ways for people to get interested in it. As far as I know, it's been sitting awhile.

Scp similarities need to go. This is backrooms, not scp.
Why has there not been any updates to this after so long? It would be cool to see some new art

I think it because there hasn't been any art created, or staff just stopped messing with it. I'm leaning towards the prior one.

That's unfortunate, I was thinking it had to be one of those 2. If I remember correctly, I thought I saw a lot of art on the Discord server a few months ago. I may be incorrect though. If the staff stopped messing with it it's their decision but personally, this art feature would be really cool tradition and bring some life into the site.

To me, it doesn't matter whether this stays on site, I just believe that if it isn't being contributed to, or is being updated, it shouldn't stay on site when it is art.
Sure, the art is pretty good when it is posted, but if the art stops getting posted, what is the point of it?
But yeah… ┐(´ー`)┌
